The name Cai Lan recently mentioned some of the remarks after Apple Daily stopped publishing due to a lecture at the Hong Kong Book Fair. A friend shared it with me and told me that what Cai Lan said was very "backbone"! I clicked on the video to see, oh, I commented on the "chaos" and "typos" of Hong Kong newspapers without any pain, and finally mentioned Cai Lan's free creation on Weibo and the Internet. Besides, there is nothing else. ...

A friend told me that the columnist I was in charge of, Cai Lan (almost reprinted Mr. Cai’s old articles published in Apple Daily, Diet Men and Women, and Next Magazine from 2010 to 2021) mentioned the withdrawal from Apple in a recent lecture at the Hong Kong Book Fair. Since the market, he has not reported readable "feelings". I was surprised that Yi Cai Lan's character couldn't say harsh words. After listening to the content of the speech, I realized that, oh, it turned out to be an understatement of the Hong Kong newspaper industry. It's nothing more than a typo, typesetting and other forms are not as good as before.

Although Jin Yong has a good hand in running a newspaper, compared with Lai zhiying's newspaper running and personal political spirit, the latter is closer to the nature of European and American liberalism. If you look at the portraits of liberal generals such as Hayek in the Apple reception hall, it shows that Li's ideology is much, much, much, much, much higher than Jin Yong's, or even far behind Jin Yong.

I didn't appreciate Li Zhiying very much in the past, except that it is less important than more, and I was led by the mainstream discourse. I thought that "literatures carry the truth" and those who write "serious articles" are the right ones. After all, most of the publications under the One Group are full of fishy smells. In addition, at that time, I had Jin Yong's "literati" heart and boasted of high morality, but now, I think the so-called literati's heart is more of a petty heart that tends to become flamboyant.

Later, whenever I saw someone borrowing Jin Yong's novels to talk about justice or Malaysian politics, I scoffed. I don't deny that Jin Yong's political awareness in the novel is higher than his political awareness as an intellectual, but don't forget that in any of his novels, Jin Yong wrote it to please officials at that time. Therefore, it is not difficult to find that the political ideology of various original, revised, and re-revised editions of his novels in the early, middle and late stages is changing.

Such a change, especially an ideology that adapts to the times, is vulgar from a literary standpoint. As a writer or a person with a firm position in political thinking, he will not easily change his position and attitude in the early stage of creation (of course, the continuous revision of Jin Yong's novels is also directly and greatly related to its distribution and copyright interests. Relationship). From my own point of view, Jin Yong's several major revisions, for those who can think independently and have free thoughts, will be vigilant that Jin Yong's revision of his own text is a very nasty thing and a serious violation of The martial arts spirit he portrayed in the novel.

As for Cai Lan, compared to Ni Kuang, Tao Jie and others, Cai Lan is more mellow and cunning. He knows how to avoid important things. Even though Li Zhiying had several food shows with Cai Lan in the later period when Apple was interfered by the CCP’s political demons, Li Zhiying always talked about the danger and suffering of the political situation she was in at that time, intentionally or unintentionally. , Cai Lan waved his hand and said that he only talked about romance, not politics.

Of course, we can accept that Cai Lan's refusal to talk about politics on the stage is understandable, even sensible, so as not to get himself into unnecessary trouble. But in my eyes, Cai Lan's move was just a cunning attitude. As for his friend Ni Kuang's resolute attitude towards anti-communism, it can be said that it is almost the same on the surface. This is something Cai Lan can't match.

Only talk about romance, not politics. One can't help but think of Lao She's "Tea House". Chinese society or the Chinese world, in the face of politics, is still enslaved to a level worse than that of slaves under the Western feudal system. Jin Yong and others are such people. Of course, this also ensures that their interests are not infringed, and both sides have the best of both worlds. Or, to be more precise, their attitude is the most correct, because they can finally "enjoy the Taimiao". Once you enter the "Tai Temple" of the current politics, everything is worth it.

The more the era of political repression, the more clearly we can see the faces of intellectuals. At first glance, the wisdom of the people has been opened, but the faintness is still not awake. When friends praised Cai Lan for criticizing Hong Kong without Apple Daily, I smiled. Perhaps, when Cai Lan talks about Hong Kong on the tip of his tongue, he is more able to hit the core point. Really don't ask him about political issues, otherwise, he will get a set of words that are full of punches and embroidered legs.
