2021 is simply the renaissance of the second-generation Korean group!

In recent years, the first generation of Korean group Crystal Boys and HOT have been reorganized for more than 10 years in "Infinite Challenge" and "Liu Liu Song", which has made many people follow the bowl to open the prosperous era of K-POP and let the world see many second-generation K-POP. The Korean group can also stand on the stage again.

There is a popular saying among Chinese netizens, "Ye Qinghui (Ye's youth is back)", which is used to describe a singer who has returned after a long absence, or a classic film, film and music work that has been shown to the public again. But I think the second-generation Korean group is more suitable to describe it as "Youth is not back, youth is always there."

In fact, compared with the first generation of Korean groups after the expiration of their contracts, the second generation of Korean groups renews more contracts with the original company, and there are also examples of collective exodus and start anew. Many groups have not announced solo flight or disbandment, and have always been active in K -POP stage.

In addition, in the past 1 or 2 years, many second-generation male idols have been discharged from the army, and the "Returning Eye Concert" of "Civilization Express" has convened many second-generation Korean groups to perform on stage, awakening the DNA of many second-generation idol fans. It has also become an opportunity for more second-generation Korean groups to reorganize smoothly after many years.

The second-generation Korean groups that came back and released new songs last year (2021) are:

1. SHINee - Don't Call Me

Released on 2021.02.22, the last 4 Taemin joined before enlisting in the army.

2. SUPER JUNIOR - House Party

Released on 2021.03.16.

3. Apink - Thank you

Released on 2021.04.19. Na Eun left Play M Entertainment at the end of April 2021 and is still participating in the group Mid-Autumn Festival greeting film in September. However, for the group comeback this year (2022), Na Eun only participated in the production of the album, and did not participate in the comeback promotion due to conflicting schedules.

4. Highlight - Not the end

Issued on 2021.05.03, all members of the army will be completed by the end of 2020.

5. 2PM - Make it

Released on 2021.06.28, all members of the army will be completed in early 2021, and they will return after 5 years. Wooyoung personally wrote the title song; Taekyeon has left JYP Entertainment and still participates in group activities.

7. 2AM - No Good in Good-bye／Should've Known

8. SUPER JUNIOR-D&E - Zero

Released on 2021.11.10, the last 3 members of Sandeul joined the army.

10. T-ARA - Tiki Taka

Released on 2021.11.15, returning after 4 years. The members plan to return at their own expense, and they belong to different brokerage companies and are still integrated.

11. FTISLAND - Unthinkable

Released on 2021.12.10, all members will complete the army in September 2021.

12. Boyfriend - Adonis

Released on 2021.12.29, all members ended their contracts with Starship in 2019. In May 2021, they released new songs together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut. At the end of the year, they released a new album with "BF".
