When eating ferns and cycads, they swallow food almost without chewing, and to aid digestion, they eat pebbles to grind up extremely coarse fibrous foods.

According to paleontologists, the brontosaurus used its tail as a whip to hit the ground. When waving its tail, it could make a sound of more than 200 decibels compared to the sound of a cannon firing.
