Today is my one year anniversary at Matters

April 2, 2022 is my one year anniversary at Matters. This year feels like it has gone by quickly, but it also feels like more than a year has passed.

At first, the purpose of coming to Matters was very simple. Interested friends can read my first post on Matters: "Say hello to the community with the first creation" . I didn't think I got more here than I paid.

The first one got to know the cryptocurrency and blockchain like LikeCoin. At first, the focus was on the platform articles that can be "permanent" without worrying about the trouble of changing platforms. Later, I gradually realized that LikeCoin is not "virtual", it is a cryptocurrency with substantial value. Therefore, I also began to pay more attention to blockchain things. This had a pivotal effect on the runway in the second half of my life.

The second one, I participated in the NFT airdrop activity issued by Matters Lab, got the first airdrop NFT in my life, a Traveler NFT, and finally won the A chic, feminist Gena. (feminist) Traveler avatar. Not only did it prepare me for web 3.0 (which I didn't know much about at the time), it also inspired me to study things like blockchain, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and more.

The third one, I still remember that on the same day I received the Travellogger NFT airdrop, I made an appointment to chat with a friend who I hadn't seen for a long time. He joined Matters before me. It turns out that he has been in the field of blockchain and cryptocurrency for several years and has a certain understanding of related industries. We chatted a lot, which increased my interest in blockchain, attracted by its value far beyond monetary value, and believed that future applications could help my city and people. Long story short, it is the validator that does the LikeCoin node. From then on, a new runway for the second half of life began.

I like to learn new things, but my learning ability is slower than people. So now I still feel that I can't catch up, it's a bit difficult to keep up, but I'm very happy and satisfied. During this time, I met some great authors at Matters, learned a lot from their quality articles, and got a lot of encouragement and help. It feels like exploring this new universe with a group of fellow travelers.

Stepping into 2022 both Matters and LikeCoiin have breakthrough developments. While it's hard to predict what's going to happen in a ten-year-old blockchain world (and that's where it gets interesting), it's so grateful to be a part of this new era. I hope to do my little bit to bring some help to the city of Hong Kong, and to cultivate the next generation.
