"New Century Diet" Reading Sense

In 2012, I read a book "Diet in the New Century" by John Robbins. He was originally the heir of the "Trinity" ice cream company in the United States. He was born with a golden key, but abandoned his wealth and wealth. The wife lived a simple life back to nature for seven years on an island near Seattle.

John has a sweeter and more meaningful dream than inheriting the ice cream business, respecting all living beings and living in peace with them; human beings can follow the rhythm of the seasons, pay attention to and love the natural world; protect rather than destroy our environment; and have A truly healthy ecosystem society with the goal of fulfilling intelligence and love.

Later, he discovered that just changing his eating habits can have a profound impact on his own health and the environment and life of the planet, and this book has shaken the eating habits of the United States for many years.

Food for the New Century tells you that your food choices benefit not only yourself, but the less fortunate people in the world, and rebuild the entire ecosystem upon which all living beings depend. Humans benefit from it, animals benefit, and so do forests, rivers, soil, air, and oceans.

When we sit down to eat, our food choices affect the world without realizing it. We don't know that there is a trace of tropical rain forest in McDonald's burgers; every time a billion hamburgers enter our stomachs, another 100 creatures disappear from the world. When we eat steak, we don't see the suffering of the livestock, the lost soil, the deforestation. We couldn't hear the cry of millions of hungry people while we ate squeaky teppanyaki steaks. Nor can we see the poison piled up on the food chain, poisoning our children and this planet from generation to generation.

Respect life, protect nature, the earth is not exclusive to human beings
