International Wire Transfer Difficulties || Cathay United World Bank Online Banking

The problem of being verified by the card reader has been tossing me all morning😤, here is a record of the situation and solutions encountered when using Cathay Pacific Internet Banking to conduct foreign currency remittance.

I checked again with the full amount of Cathay Shihua, and the total postage fee is only 800 yuan (it was originally only 600, and it only increased to 800 on 5/1). But after calculating, Cathay Pacific’s handling fee is still the lowest in comparison, plus there is a 3 cents discount for foreign exchange through online banking or mobile banking (how can it be written like a professional match 😓), let’s not say anything else Open an account with Cathay Pacific and bind a foreign currency transfer agreement account (only at the counter). The next step is to slowly change some US dollars, collect 25,000, and enter the online banking wire transfer procedure.

## Start wire transfer

Log in to Internet Banking and go to Foreign Currency Deposits -> Outward Remittances -> Foreign Exchange Outward Remittances . Remember to conduct transactions during bank business hours (09:00 ~ 15:30).

## Fill in the information

Select the beneficiary, select 1 for the account entry method, and enter the account in full .

Remittance classification selection Others -> 2 - Domestic capital outflow -> 262 Investment in foreign equity securities .

## The recipient bank area code is blank!

When I saw this, I panicked, thinking that something major happened. Did I fill in the wrong information at the counter, or did the clerk make a mistake when setting it up? I called to confirm, and the bank said it was correct, which almost scared me to death😱 .

## Component download failed!

Because it exceeds NT$500,000, it needs to be authenticated by a chip financial card.

I have seen on the Internet before that I need to use Tears of the Times IE (Internet Explorer) to pass the test, but I still keep getting the error message that the component download failed.

Strange that Cathay Pacific WebATM is OK.

I had to search the Internet again. Some people said that Java should be withdrawn to the sixth edition, and some people said that they should use the latest version. I have tried both and it still doesn't work.

Then I tried to adjust some of the security levels in the IE Internet options for ActiveX controls, but it still didn't work.

I was so disheartened that I thought I had to go to the bank again at noon. I saw someone tweet on PTT:

The original focus is the win32 bit environment !!

Since the computer is 64-bit, IE opened directly from the Start menu will be 64-bit. If you want to use 32-bit IE, just open iexplore.exe from C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer. thing 😅).
