A Few Questions To Ask About God, I Mean, Ask Yourself First (10)

Biblical inerrancy is actually a proposition that the problem itself must be clearly identified, otherwise it is guaranteed to turn into nonsense.

Is the Bible correct?

Good question, this is probably one of the top three offensive questions for non-Christians, although it's so boring, so boring that I wouldn't ask this kind of stupid question when I was attacking various religions. But many Christians will jump in and die by themselves. It's really a waste of you to claim to be a Christian, but you don't even know the most basic Bible.

To be clear, you said that the Bible was inspired by God and that there is no problem with the content. I "agree in principle." I mean, if you find the original version, the version written by Moses and the version written by Paul, I agree.

But that's all, because we know all too well that the transmission of language is often imprecise. At this time, I would like to ask those people who claim that speaking of spiritual language (dialects) is more advanced. Isn't the reason why you boast that the language of spiritual language is more advanced because there are many defects in human language?

Let's first look at how many layers of translation the Bible we read has undergone. First, God handed down the will, and then the author "translated" it into the text of the year (and we know that the older the text, the fewer words and the poorer the ability to express), then That original work was copied by many people, and the process was error-prone (in fact, biblical scholars admit that the combined difference between manuscripts around the world is even more than the number of words in the Bible).

Then these volumes were translated layer by layer, and finally became the version you can understand in our hands.

And there are many versions. If you go to the website of Faith, Hope, and Love , there are 10 or 20 versions in Chinese alone. Which one do you think is absolutely correct?

Forget it, if you insist on taking the inerrancy of the Bible as a literal insistence on this issue, you will simply cause people to stumble on the road of belief, because you shouldn’t explain it this way.

Nothing wrong with the Bible is based on the fact that each reader truly recognizes God when reading the Bible, and God’s infiniteness allows everyone to find their own comfort when reading the Bible. Of course, I'm not saying that you can interpret the Bible randomly (for example, 1 Corinthians condemns the Corinthian church for being too fond of tongues and deviating from the truth, and the charismatic church can explain that speaking in tongues is awesome...) However, from the standpoint of situational Bible study , the church, as a helping organization, has to face different people’s different predicaments and different contexts, and then be considerate of different understandings of the Bible.

Listen, I mean the church as an "organization" that "helps" and then you have to be "considerate" with different interpretations of the Bible.

Otherwise "your" Bible would not be inerrant, the Bible is inerrant, but you are inerrant.

If someone asks me this question, I will answer "Yes! That's the truth! Unfortunately, after layers of translation, I can't deny that there are some things that have not been translated well, so some laymen, for example, everyone here, can't do it well. I understand the Bible, so would you like to come and read the Bible with me...".

Usually these people will retreat in spite of the difficulties. Anyway, you are uneasy and kind, and I am too lazy to spend too much time. As for those who want to cite specific verses, I will talk about it when I have time. Anyway, what they can cite is usually me before. I have challenged things, and unfortunately, I only found the answer after reading the Bible seriously. Most Christians simply do not read the Bible well to understand theology, nor are they capable of answering theological questions. All I can say is that you have met God, this is a grace, and you are very thankful, but you should really know God well. Even if you can memorize the entire Bible, it is not really a knowledge of God. , are you really thinking about it?
