Annual Handbook Digitization: My Notion Workspace Architecture Sharing

I spent some time reorganizing my Notion Workspace in the past few days, roughly sorted out and anchored the layout of the whole year of 2021, and then dealt with the details of life. Over the past three years, I have gradually tuned my Metacognition system to create life with the end in mind: I tend to figure out where I'm going, what I'm going to manifest in the end, and then work backwards on how to start from now. Achieved, and observe the current dynamic and recalibrate as you move forward .

The tools I currently use for managing itineraries, projects, and data processing (notes):

• Notion (PC)
  The main work platform/repository.
  
• Todoist (app)
  A day-based task management tool that can be embedded in Notion.
  
• PenCake (app)
  Whenever I think of anything at random, I usually just pick up the pen and paper at hand and simply write it down, or grab my phone and open PenCake, a minimalist note-taking app, which is very concise and won my heart.
  
• Google Dirve & Calendar (PC + app)

Since I already understand that I am not suitable for the "point"-like life/experience method of time and space, such as the bullet journal method, it is too trivial for me. It will be much smoother, so Notion, a database that is especially suitable for constructing a complete knowledge system, is particularly appealing to me. Because my existential values are similar to "Situation Sect", here is an excerpt for understanding:

What needs to be constantly confirmed is whether all efforts are moving in the right direction. As long as every plan or task is done strictly and carefully, it is not necessary to care about the success or failure of a single event afterwards. For example, if the result of the exhibition is different from your own presupposition, you don’t need to feel too uncomfortable, let alone spend too much time annoyed, as long as you know that everything else is moving in the same direction .

And this year, I don't plan to buy a physical annual notebook (in previous years, I usually have a Moleskine classic black ink hard shell annual notebook to accompany me), due to the change in living habits, I decided to file it directly and integrate it into Notion Workspace immediately. Try it out first. Come on, maybe by the end of this year, I will feel safe with this Moleskine by my side (?).

My Notion Workspace homepage / Index (Index) , there are 4 main blocks:

• Faith (Quotes)
  "Like the wind wandering through the void, there is no obstacle in the world." From the "Huayan Sutra" , it is the future hope I gave myself at the end of 2019, and this wish will run through the ten years of experience.
  
• Annual Announcement
  List the major events that I want to create, such as the spiritual workshop/physical class I am planning, the artist solo exhibition, and the technology art group exhibition I want to curate.
• Post-it notes (Reminder)
  I change the concept that I want to highlight and remind myself from time to time.
  At present, Dr. Deepak Chopra has put forward the 7 laws of universal spirituality to achieve complete success. Those who are interested can read his book "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success".
  
• Timeline (Time River)
  In order to show that time is a "flow", I choose [Timeline] to materialize the calendar.

In this way, you can get straight to the point and put the center of gravity in front of you at all times.

● Vision VISION

The homepage of Vision lists the main tasks/goals of the year in units of " years ".
Embedded in Todoist, the daily tasks are clear at a glance, and you can view and check the completed tasks synchronously when you start the operation.

The Vision sub-page lists the main tasks/goals for each month in " months ", with a cash flow accounting block.
Some longer-term projects are expected to take months or even years to track and execute, so I will repeat the list every month.

The cash flow accounting block helps me to be more aware of my income, expenses and debts, and roughly predict the composition of income and expenses. For example, the project currently running is preparing to enter the agenda of angel investment, and only once it is confirmed that the production funds are obtained. Sex to get my personal salary for the pre-production period; there will be larger expenses in certain months, etc.

My current active sources of income are: spiritual courses , art projects , hypnosis cases , project contributions , design commissions , etc.
In principle, in fact, as long as I implement my monthly plan steadily , the required cash flow will be in place within the expected time, and all I have to do is to focus on my path and not to look around.

● Project PROJECT

Projects are divided into two categories: the main decided annual plan (Annual Mission), and the secondary, sudden reserve inspiration (Side Inspiration). For example: The original sci-fi XR trilogy of "Guanzizai: Future Buddha" launched last year is the main project that we will continue to realize this year; and when I saw the Popopopogallery theme call at the end of last year, I had a whim. "Dream Eater/Dream Project" (which can be made into an immersive experience theater or made into a sci-fi movie), I will put it aside for the time being. This year, I may slowly complete the idea in my spare time, and wait until next year to arrange it. Execute, or incorporate into an existing project idea.

● Archive ARCHIVE

Archive (Archive) is my personal library (bibliothèque) , currently divided into 4 categories:

• Lifelog
  All private journals or public, informal articles, such as Facebook posts.
  And every half a year or at the end of the year, I will do a general review, remove the rubbish and save the essence and leave a text worthy of retention and beyond the time limit.
  
• Feature
  Are preparing or have officially contributed to a particular art/cultural media topic.
  
• Literature
  As the name suggests, it is literary creation, mainly short stories and poems; novels/writing projects are placed in projects.
  
• Study
  Mainly for some English translation exercises and reading excerpts.
  

● Resource SOURCE

I found that I have articles/movies/databases in the Chrome bookmark bar at random. Some of them may have been stored for a long time and have not been watched, and they will be deleted when they are out of date. It is better to put all the webpages that are judged to be valuable and will be used in the future but will not be viewed immediately, and put them into the Notion Workspace for unified storage, which is easy to find, clear at a glance, and emptied from time to time.

● HYPNOSIS SERVICE RESERVATION SYSTEM

Currently, Notion is directly used to set up an appointment system for remote hypnosis services , replacing the original official website.
