See Ophthalmology | Ophthalmic
Last week when the child and his wife were playing together, the child threw a stationery box into the mother's face, hitting her in the eye. In the next few days, my wife said that there were some black shadows similar to small flying insects in my eyes. This Saturday, my wife and I went to the hospital to see an ophthalmologist. Unexpectedly, the condition was quite serious after a pass inspection. It was said that there was a crack in the retina, which had caused a slight retinal detachment.
My wife and I were both taken aback. The doctor also said that laser photocoagulation should be done immediately. This is a small operation that can partially seal the retinal crack and prevent the crack from expanding further. But the problem is that my wife's retinal crack is a bit big, I don't know if this plan is feasible. You can try it first, and then see a doctor for a follow-up.
On Saturday, the laser photocoagulation doctor is not available, so I can only do it on Sunday. So complicated. If this option does not work, retinal surgery is required. I went to the hospital on Monday to see a doctor, I hope this plan works. Even so, the retina may fall off in the future, and frequent fundus examinations are required.
It was a real catastrophe. Going to the hospital tomorrow to see what's going on, I hope everything goes well.
