Reflect on my attitude towards my mother

Xiaolu often reflects on himself when watching how other families get along.

Recently, when I was reading Sunline’s 2023 Ah-Line Drawing Rabbit Wall Calendar and Desk Calendar to accompany you through the year , I was very touched by a certain paragraph in it:

I draw the desk calendar every year just for my mother. (My mother must not know.) She would always ask me: "Do you have a calendar? No one has given it to me." As a designer and painter, and being my mother's Doraemon, I should conjure up one for her.

It is my mother's custom to put the sixth day of the month last. It was originally made for her, so you have to follow her habits.

When Xiaolu saw this passage, he began to think...Have he done anything to his mother? Do I know my mother? Am I considerate enough of my mother?

Xiaolu’s former colleagues in Pingtung once complained that every time they tried to persuade their parents to do something, their parents would always agree to change it, but they would always revert to their old ways after a few days.

Xiaolu told a colleague at the time: Just like when we were young, our parents also needed to repeat it again and again, teaching again and again, from learning to talk to going to the toilet; from learning to walk to teaching homework, and even eating. How long does it take to start feeding, clean up the mess we made with spoons, and learn to use chopsticks? Back then, our parents would smile when we saw what we did wrong, thinking that their children were so cute no matter how they looked at us. So why are we so impatient with our parents?

I once read a saying: Hedgehog's children are naked, but weasel's children are very fragrant.
Why do parents look at their children as good as they think, but we look at our parents impatiently?

Do I treat my mother with kindness?

"My parents give me advice when it comes to things. If you don't follow your will, you will respect me without disobeying me. You will work hard without complaining."
When you see your parents making mistakes, you should give them good advice on the matter. When you see your parents don't listen, you still love them and work hard but don't resent them.

When I see the warmth of other people's families, I can't help but feel ashamed when I look back and think about my own attitude.
