An escape with no end.

Day 1

It was a disastrous Mid-Autumn Festival. I broke things at home. My daughter's plaster doll was shattered all over the floor. The lamp, alarm clock and small fan on her desk were also not spared. It was originally an ordinary Mid-Autumn Festival. My wife worked overtime in the morning, and I took my daughter to the shopping mall to watch a free movie, a domestic science fiction animation film about the exploration of Mars. My daughter was very excited at first, but she felt bored at the end and said it was not as good as "Journey to the West". It was noon when we came out of the cinema. My daughter didn't want to go home. She ran around in the mall and played hide-and-seek with me. I called my wife and asked her to take my daughter home. After lunch, everyone else was sleeping, but my daughter was not sleepy. She was playing with toys in the living room, disturbing everyone's sleep. At around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, my daughter made an appointment with her classmates to play together, and urged my wife to take her out. My wife was folding the quilt in the room, and my daughter was so anxious that she cried. My wife got angry at my daughter and said some unpleasant words, and my daughter cried even harder. I lay on the sofa, saying nothing, except to persuade my daughter not to cry. My wife and I live separately under the same roof. We see each other every day. Escalating conflicts are not good for anyone. My daughter cried for at least 20 minutes, but my wife ignored her and occasionally added fuel to the fire. She loves her daughter more than herself. She treats her daughter like this, which is actually against me. It is a typical cold violence. The mother and daughter are preparing to go out. They change shoes at the door. The daughter's crying has weakened. I don't know what my wife said, but my daughter started crying again. I finally lost control, jumped up from the sofa, and started to throw things. I threw everything I caught. It was really weird. I didn't target my daughter, but I threw all her things. My wife didn't react at all and still took my daughter out. My mother witnessed the whole process and was deeply shocked. She went back to her room and lay down. I said I couldn't stay in this house anymore. If I stayed any longer, I would die. I started to pack my luggage and filled my suitcase and backpack with clothes. The living room was a mess. I took pictures with my iPad as soon as possible to preserve precious historical memories. My mother got up from the bed, quietly cleaned the living room, found a large plastic bag to put the garbage in, and asked me to throw the garbage downstairs, saying that my daughter would cry if she saw it. At 6 pm, my wife brought my daughter home. Almost all of her plaster dolls were destroyed. She was very sad, but she didn't cry. I comforted her and said that I would take her to draw plaster dolls when I had the chance, and buy her another desk lamp. My wife went to the kitchen to cook noodles and asked her mother how many people she was cooking for. She said three. I dragged my luggage out of the house. My daughter asked me where I was going. I said I didn't know. She said, "Don't you have no money?" I said I could borrow money. I said goodbye to my daughter through the iron gate and waited for the elevator to go downstairs. My daughter moved a plastic stool to the door, stepped on the stool, and peeked out through the cat's eye. This was a new skill she learned this summer vacation. The elevator came. I knew my daughter was looking at me. I said goodbye to her loudly. She said goodbye to Dad and watched me enter the elevator. I took the high-speed train at 8:46 pm and fled to the southwest, arriving at Badong Station at around 10 o'clock. I bought a ticket through 12306. After payment, the ticket failed to be issued. I quickly bought another one. I suspected that the system deliberately cheated me, or I might have made an operational error under extreme circumstances. After exiting the station, I took a bus to the county town and got off at Wuxia Square. The straight-line distance between the place where I got off and the hotel I booked was less than two kilometers. I considered walking, but gave up the idea because it was too late. Facts proved that my decision was absolutely correct. The road in the county town was winding and undulating. The taxi drove for more than ten minutes. I suspected that the driver deliberately took a detour. She didn't need to drive to the riverside. However, the county town was really not big, and the fare was only 11 yuan.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, we started our hiking tour in the county town. We arrived at Kou Zhun Park behind the hotel. The view was wide, and I took out my iPad to take pictures of the Yangtze River. We walked for an hour to Meimei Department Store, the commercial center of Badong. We stood on the circular overpass to feel the prosperity of the mountain city. The mountain was very high, and there were houses on the top of the mountain. The KFC on the first floor of Meimei Department Store was under renovation and opened during the National Day. There was a "Pole Street" under the mall, with a large number of shops vacant. Several backpackers were eating, which seemed to be instant noodles they brought with them. I had lunch at Luckin Coffee, a 9.9-yuan Essence Australian White with toast from "Family Cake" (and then I went to the supermarket to buy some fruit, and lunch was perfect). Luckin Coffee's business was good, with takeaway guys coming in and out constantly. I sat at the door, looking at the street view through the glass, and my iPad was placed on the table so that I could read and write at any time, and write my escape diary. Several young ladies in formal clothes sat on the bench opposite the bar. They should be bank employees. They have a very long lunch break in the system, and their salary is enough to drink coffee. They are definitely Luckin Coffee's best customers. I went to the supermarket on the first floor of Meimei Department Store and bought a bottle of mineral water for three yuan. I didn't see any suitable fruits, mainly because they were too expensive. I took bus No. 101 back to the hotel and saw the young lady I had just seen at Luckin Coffee. She was dressed fashionably (green T-shirt, black shorts), elegant, and looked like a full-time wife of a rich family. I guess she often patronized Luckin Coffee. I returned to the hotel, exhausted, and lay on the bed to rest. I was thinking about the refund from 12306. I called to ask, and a man checked my ID number and said that the refund would be received within a week. As night fell, I slipped out of the hotel, took the bus to the city, got off opposite Meimei Department Store, and found a place to eat. The 12 yuan beef noodles were not enough, so I went to Dicos and ordered a 19 yuan set meal. I walked to the Badong Yangtze River Bridge. Behind me was a beautiful night view, but I quickly lost the desire to take pictures. There were many obstacles on the cable-stayed bridge, and I couldn't find a suitable angle to take pictures. The wind on the bridge was very strong, and the wind was getting stronger as I walked forward. I was worried about being blown off. The bridge was very high above the water. I quickened my pace and walked to the other side, walked one more stop, took bus No. 202 back along the same route at Zhangjialiangzi Station, got off at Wuxia Square, and transferred to bus No. 101 back to the hotel.
