Telegram's first use of connecting proxy nodes
Windows client
1 Connect via v2ray proxy
Here we only introduce how to log in to Telegram Desktop desktop version through V2rayN in Windows system. Please find tutorials for other agent software.
1. Download the Telegram Desktop client according to [Tutorial 1-2](https://telegramsclub.com/content/download.html.
2. Download the [V2rayN]( https://github.com/2dust/v2rayN/releases) client.
3. Open the V2rayN client, add the V2ray node subscription address in "Subscription - Subscription Settings", then "Subscribe - Update Subscription", and then select an available node.
4. Open the proxy settings of the Telegram Desktop client, create a new proxy, select SOCKS5, set the address to `127.0.0.1`, and set the port to `10808`, as shown in the figure.
5. If the agent displays connected, it means success, you can start to register and use it normally.
If it keeps showing connecting, there may be a problem with this proxy, please try another proxy.
2 Connect via built-in MTP proxy
For an introduction to the MTProxy proxy, see the related content in 3-21 of this tutorial.
1. After opening the Telegram Desktop desktop client, click the circle in the lower left corner to configure the proxy.
2. Click use custom proxy again to add a custom proxy.
3. Select the MRProto proxy mode, enter the Hostname (server address), Port (port) and Secret (password) in turn, and finally click Save to save.
4. If the agent displays connected, it means success, you can start to register and use it normally.
If it keeps showing connecting, there may be a problem with this proxy, please try another proxy.
iOS client
Here we only introduce the iOS system to log in to the Telegram iOS version through shadowrocket (small rocket). For other proxy software, please find the tutorial by yourself.
1. Download and install shadowrocket on your iOS device first.
2. Open shadowrocket (small rocket), select the + sign in the upper right corner, select the type as Subscribe, fill in the V2ray subscription address in the URL column, save it, go back to the home page to select an available line, and open the proxy.
3. At this point, the Telegram iOS client should be able to be used normally.
Android client
1 Connect via v2ray proxy
Here we only introduce the Android system to log in to Telegram Android version through V2rayNG. For other agent software, please find the tutorial by yourself.
1. For Android devices, download and install V2rayNG first, which can be downloaded from Google Play or from [GitHub]( https://github.com/2dust/v2rayNG/releases) .
2. Open V2rayNG, select the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner, select "Subscription Settings", then click the + sign in the upper right corner, fill in the V2ray subscription address in the URL column, save, and then return to the home page to select an available line and enable the proxy.
3. At this point, the Telegram Android client should be able to be used normally.
2 Connect via built-in MTP proxy
For an introduction to the MTProxy proxy, see the related content in 3-21 of this tutorial.
1. After clicking Start Messaging, you will see connecting (connecting) displayed in the upper left corner. Clicking it will bring up the proxy setting interface.
2. Click the use proxy switch, and the proxy setting interface will pop up.
3. Select MTProxy Proxy, fill in server (server address), port (port) and secret (password) in turn. After filling in, click √ in the upper right corner to save the configuration.
4. If the agent displays connected, it means success, you can start to register and use it normally.
If it keeps showing connecting, there may be a problem with this proxy, please try another proxy.
