An open letter to Mr. Li
Dear Friends,
I write the following to tell you about a nightmare I experienced and to expose betrayal and injustice. Last month, I was invited to a public security office for a chat, which left me physically and mentally exhausted, and my heart filled with endless grievances and confusion.
I am a low-level worker. Like many ordinary workers, I have a deep understanding of the hardships and difficulties in life. On social media, I once expressed some of my inner thoughts, just wanting to vent my inner dissatisfaction, but I didn't expect to cause such trouble.
The cause of the incident was that I submitted an article to "Teacher Li is not your teacher (Twitter: @whyyoutouzhele)" hoping to get a chance to vent my dissatisfaction. I kept it very confidential. I purchased the account and the ladder was given to me by a friend. I did not leave any contact information. The content was all about local events that I thought were unfair. I thought such behavior was not a big deal. After all, expressing personal opinions on social media is my right as an ordinary person. However, I never expected that this "Teacher Li" would betray my trust and leak my personal information to the public security organs. I never thought that a big V with more than a million fans would treat the personal privacy and safety of contributors so irresponsibly. I
I still remember the scene of being summoned by the public security organs to drink tea in the bureau. During the interrogation, they did not give any clear reasons or explanations. They just treated me as a suspicious person because of some comments I made on social media. All of this made me feel very wronged and heartbroken. As an ordinary person, I should have the right to freedom of speech and privacy, but I was questioned and investigated by the public security organs because of some of my comments. I couldn't accept this feeling.
I wrote this letter not to seek sympathy or complain, but to tell everyone that it is not safe for us FQ to express our opinions on various social platforms outside the country. In this era of information explosion, our personal privacy and security may be violated at any time, and we must remain vigilant and alert, otherwise we will be sold out and kept in the dark to count money for others.
If you have the same experience, you can also talk about your experience of being invited to tea. Thank you!
Like my work? Don't forget to support and clap, let me know that you are with me on the road of creation. Keep this enthusiasm together!
