Matters provides a decentralized content creation and public discussion platform. It uses blockchain technology and a decentralized network to store content. All content published by creators will be stored in different network nodes, not only without censorship Nor can it be deleted in order to achieve true decentralized freedom of speech.

Freedom of speech is one of the birthrights of everyone, and this should be a very natural fact on the seemingly free Internet.

But in fact, in the world of Web 2.0, in addition to the algorithm, there is a very critical element that determines whether your content can be seen by other people in these centralized organizations, that is, whether they want it or not. Your content is seen by others, and centralized organizations can censor, hide your content, or even delete your account from the online world.

Matters provides a decentralized content creation and public discussion platform. It uses blockchain technology and a decentralized network to store content. All content published by creators will be stored in different network nodes, not only without censorship Nor can it be deleted in order to achieve true decentralized freedom of speech.

Matters currently has three main product lines, namely Matters.News, Travelloggers, and The Space. The first two are mainly based on text as the medium of creation, which is also the main content of this article. The Space is a collective pixel creation game. Not yet officially launched.

Matters related website

Matters.News

It is a content creation platform built on Web3.0, and its usage is not much different from the general blog publishing platform.

The only difference is the creator's part. There are some differences from the Web2.0 platform in the part of logging out and publishing content.

  • Differences in login methods: Users can log in to their accounts in two ways, (1) using an encrypted wallet to log in, (2) using an e-mail to log in. Both methods will eventually bind the encrypted wallet and e-mail.

  • Article release: The content published by users will be stored in the Interstellar File System (IPFS) distributed nodes, and the current storage fee is paid by the Matters platform. Users can now publish content on Matters.News for free.

Travelloggers (NFTs)

Traveloggers is an NFT project released by Matters, a pixel-style series with many different characters, attributes and traits.

Every Travelloggers NFT can go to the Logbook Matters News page to get a Logbook NFT ( Opensea store link )

The appearance of Logbook NFT is as above. In addition to its appearance, it can also write content through the Logbook Matters News webpage . There is a very detailed teaching guide for using Logbook on Matters.

You can think of Logbook NFT as a Web3.0 notebook, whose appearance is just its cover. The owner can write content through the Logbook Matters News webpage . This notebook has no limit on the number of writes and capacity, but once The written content will exist permanently on the network and cannot be deleted.

In addition, every time you write content, you have to pay a little Matic as a fee for using the Polygon chain. Logbook NFTs can also be transferred to others, and anyone who owns the Logbook NFT can write new content.

If you want to read other people's Logbook content, you can watch it here .

In order to avoid confusion for everyone, here is again to explain that Travelloggers and Logbook NFT are two completely independent NFT series, but each Travelloggers can receive a Logbook NFT for free.

2.0 Logbook Limited Edition Community Event

The Logbook NFT relay writing event is currently being held on Matter. Those who are interested can refer to the content of the event .

By setting an event theme, content creators can gather the power of a group of people to create together by transferring the Logbook NFT. Although it is not like Google documents that can be directly opened for everyone to edit together, it cannot be tampered or deleted once it is published. The characteristics of this event make this event particularly meaningful.

Finally, a special thanks to Matters' partners for providing a Travelloggers NFT so that I can personally experience its empowerment and the charm of Web3.0 creation.
