Matters and Liker.land and Like.co
In 2018, I spent some time learning about the blockchain, and then I felt that it was too early. It seemed to be the stage of technical foundation. In addition to being busy, I have not continued to spend time. 2021 is really jaw-dropping growth. One is that the word DeFi appears overwhelmingly in the first half of the year, and the other is that the word NFT is booming on the Internet in the second half of the year. So during the Spring Festival, I looked back and learned a little bit about blockchain.
It started directly with the relatively familiar content section. I just wrote an article on the grounds of the unpleasant eight-child-mother incident . I also read the related content by the way, which was a little rewarding.
- A small discovery is that the ID has changed. Although Matters' ID system still exists, the wallet login method has also been introduced. In addition to testing other applications, it is very interesting that the wallet has become a new ID. From this perspective, completely real economic behavior can run on a temporary identity, a relatively virtual identity.
- There is also a little confusion, that is, my Liker.land is still bundled with Matters ID, it seems to be more used to this, I don't know if it is necessary to replace it. Matters can connect to the wallet, but there seems to be a bug and there is no incentive to replace it.
- Discovery appreciates the civic project, but is in the process of upgrading and has not been able to fully try it. But there is https://liker.land/horse-matters/civic this address can be shared, I hope experts can subscribe.
- I think the subscription mechanism is great, and Liker.land's subscription page, if it goes well, seems to be an alternative RSS reader. I don't know if my thinking is outdated, but I still like the kind of RSS reader that can read completely controllable, making me feel like the master of reading, not the slave of the recommendation mechanism.
- Paid subscriptions are also great. I myself like to do this for authors, similar to the paid mailing group approach. But Medium provides a very special mechanism based on the number of readings, I don't know if the Citizenship Program is paid mail, or Medium, or some combination. From the background of Liker.land, it is not very clear. It seems that there are three types of subscription, appreciation and matching funds. The calculation logic of the last one is not understood. The number of readings is a terrible mechanism that spurs words to clamor.
- I don't know much about the coin like Like.co, and I have no idea about ISCN. Content, it must link production, circulation, and return. Web 2.0 didn’t go on, probably because of the lack of economic mechanism, but from the perspective of the content community based on Coin in the past, it has become pure blockchain content. There is a conflict between hyping and making money and supporting authors, and Coin cannot really circulate and Application, i.e. there is no real economic activity around the content.
- The Matters community is content-first, and I liked it at first. I haven't returned for a long time. During this time, I feel that the content is different from the previous atmosphere. One is that the content of the blockchain is still increasing, and the quality is also too different. Personally, I think this is all related to the Coin incentive mechanism, which is a very big double-edged sword.
- We all believe that the blockchain will rise, so the profit based on Coin and content is unlikely to be a hot spot from the current point of view, that is, it is unlikely to have the possibility of getting rich quick, I think it is quite good, if you find the real content The economic mechanism, and respecting it and supporting it with products may be conceivable in the long run. After all, as Matters, the current product is not bad.
The above is just a momentary impression. I am re-learning the blockchain, there may be some inappropriateness, but it is only a phased cognitive sharing.
