I have submitted 3 resumes for a while, and it was surprising and fortunate that I received further replies on all 3 opportunities (2 were admitted, one was an internship, one was a course, and the other was sent to the company after entering the second level. Fang said that I had already found an internship, so I did not continue), because there are very few examples of finding an internship before high school graduation on the Internet, I would like to share some experiences and my exploration process! Finally, there are 7 suggestions and heart methods :)

Because of the relevant regulations that I only learned after I joined the company, I will resend it after deleting the company name and part of the content. Thank you to every reader who supports :)

The 3 resumes I submitted are actually just an English resume and fine-tuning. Because I mainly want to find opportunities in the Web3 field, I use it as a starting point to organize my resumes. I actually tried to write an English CV before, but it was only a one-page, preliminary writing, this time I referred to the resume course on LinkedIn (free course ~ I spent one night watching the video at about twice the speed, about Know some concepts, what projects can be included in a resume, how to write, what can be emphasized, and the course also provides examples for reference, but it is an English course)

In fact, finding this course is also due to fate. I want to say that I go to LinkedIn to look for other people's resume examples, and use resume as the keyword to search. The result is this course that pops up first. I want to say that there are more than two. The hour-long class is not long, so I just watched it all at twice the speed~

I also learned it in this class. I added Objective to the top of the Resumé (I read other people's resumes on the Internet and feel that I seldom write this)

There are really a lot of online resources. In addition to looking at LinkedIn, I also use Google to search for keywords such as interviews, resumes, cover letters, etc. Take a look at the previous articles. There are also many articles on Medium. Look, probably after reading it, you will be more impressed. You can compare how most people write, and then synthesize it based on your own experience (actually, I think this seems to be almost the same). Of course, it would be good if someone could help to read it, but Because I was in a hurry, I just finished writing it myself and used Grammarly to vote it out.

Just when I was submitting a while ago, I was also preparing for a college interview. I used this opportunity to review my experience again:) The reason for submitting my resume is simply to feel fun, because I have a vacation after the final exam. I want to say that it may continue like this. During the few months when the university starts, it will pass without doing anything, and there is just a three-month gap. There should be some summer internship opportunities to look for. Do a little thing and save it before going to university. A little money, move towards a self-reliant life...

Interview sharing

I still remember that I received an invitation for an interview with my first-choice company one evening. After I walked through StepN and went to the bookstore to read a book, I received an email ( I almost thought it was a scam ^^) and went home and asked my dad if I should make an appointment for an interview next Monday (my college application will be completed on Sunday) or earlier, for example tomorrow, my dad suggested that I make an appointment tomorrow, It's better to come early, while they still have an impression of your resume.

So I made an appointment in the afternoon of the next day to start the English interview in less than a day. I used the Internet to check a lot of questions that may arise in the interview, and typed a verbatim script (actually, there is no need to type a verbatim script. If you really want it, you can use bullet points, and it’s impossible to actually watch it, but it’s more comfortable), and I also asked my classmate to ask him to accompany me to practice oral English for two days and one hour each haha. After the interview, I decided not to prepare for the English interview at the university. XD Because my English speaking in the past two days has improved by leaps and bounds... (Sure enough, people need a little pressure to make rapid progress haha)

How to prepare questions: Make good use of google, look at the first few articles that pop up, look for other people's job-hunting questions on the Internet, there are many videos on YouTube for reference; Impression and then think about how to answer it (Actually, my parents told me that I don’t need to prepare, but I think it’s more reassuring to watch it)

In fact, when preparing to apply for a university, the college interview questions, suggestions and experiences left by the Beiyi Women's Counseling Office over the years are also very helpful! But only the students of Beiyi girls can see them XD Thank you, sisters TT

Interview A was divided into three rounds. The first round was an English interview, and the second and third rounds were all Chinese interviews. I was also surprised that the first time I applied for an internship was at a well-known company like A, and my first job interview was an English interview, and I went through three rounds of interviews. It was a very interesting experience to apply for a job on my own for the first time!

7 things to start if you're about my age (or younger ... ):

1. Live well

I think this is the most important. Live well, know what you are doing, it doesn't matter if you don't know, think about what you are doing and what you want to do

Don't do anything that might be flashy especially to look "great" or want to "shine," and why does it have to be "shine"?

Do what you like, leave time for yourself, don't adore or yearn for something unnecessary, because many of them may just be sprinkled with a layer of gold dust, not necessarily their true colors.

Be curious and passionate about the world and explore what you find interesting!

Later, I was watching some people who were already working to share how they looked for internships and jobs in the first place. Before connecting to the places corresponding to JD requirements and skills, they would mention university events, club cadres, etc. I found out that I actually did it or already had it in high school, so of course, it is very helpful to explore a lot in high school (but the premise is that you still have to take care of your homework... The 108 syllabus is very cruel, the grades are not reached, No matter how fulfilling the learning process is, it will not help you to apply for college...)

2. Learn English well...

If you keep looking down, you will know that English may not be used very much at present, but if you want to have some opportunities that are different from most people, it is really important.... I thought English was fun from the beginning, so I learned it all the way (you can think about what makes English interesting for you, or why your favorite subject makes you like it)

Again, I don't like to do it because of what other people are doing, and I don't like to do something because other people seem to be great, and I want to be great too.

Live for yourself plz!

3. Start LinkedIn, start posting and diving

My own first-choice internship is seen above! That day, I wanted to say otherwise, I went to LinkedIn to have a look, but I was so excited to see this notice that the recruitment information was just posted, so I wrote a 2-page English resume + cover letter within two days and then voted it out.

I started LinkedIn around 2019, probably in my freshman year of high school. At that time, I just thought it was fun... (Hahaha, the premise of doing things is that something seems to be quite interesting) Later, I would post something on it from time to time, It's just that I didn't really like the way it made me feel, so I didn't watch it very often. If you just ask for a job, it may still be a platform to be operated, so you can choose a little bit, knowing that everyone will present the best side, a bit like the user's usual communication method and orientation on the platform. Don't take it too seriously, but you can still post something

Most of the jobs on LinkedIn are from foreign businessmen. Because it is an English-language platform, Job Descryption and recruitment information are all in English. If English is good, it will be very popular, and there will be more opportunities to intern/work with foreign businessmen.

4. Diving through places like Facebook groups

I was about the second year of high school, and joined the Facebook internship perspective (or something like that) club at the invitation of my senior sister. From then on, I probably knew what conditions I would have to meet if I wanted to do an internship in the future (such as age, department, etc.) You are not in a hurry to apply anyway, so just watch the fun and slowly research and explore on it, and see how others share and what they have.

Most of the internship information in the internship perspective is written in Chinese. There are also many college students from all over Taiwan. Another web3 internship opportunity I voted for is seen above (there is a reply letter to the second round of invitations, The second round is a practical topic, but because I have found an internship, I did not continue to complete it)

I have always emphasized diving, just because I think (if you are still young or have a lot of learning experience to strengthen), you can do it in a hurry, look at it slowly, and start slowly after you have a little concept. You don't have to hunt around... Know which field you want to explore, what kind of internship you want to find, and then enrich your experience (although I don't really want to do anything that looks great for a certain goal, It's all fun to do, but it's still helpful to some extent... in finding a job, looking for an internship)

5. Make good use of the Internet, find resources, and connect with the outside world

For high school students, there may not be many opportunities to know about these activities and resources, but there are really many things on the Internet that can help. For example, some people worry that the learning process will deepen the gap between urban and rural areas. As long as you know how to use it properly, in fact, many gaps will be narrowed.

Like various online courses (whether programming languages, data analysis, google analytics, ...), online writing (many platforms, instagram, matters, medium, or submission), groups (telegram, discord) these are all Useful resources. Which environment and location are you in? In fact, I think that after the outbreak of the Wuhan pneumonia, the impact is even smaller, the physical activities are reduced, and most of the lectures will be online to participate and learn, depending on your interest and willingness. span

I think that because I have been using Facebook for too long, I am also very used to (diving) to find information and read comments on it (you can track a few people who often repost various comments, and see what they repost, this may also save I’m in my school test society, because after a long time, I will get used to long text comments and the like haha), and the people who use Facebook are a little older, and they share current affairs comments, various information in the academic field of the workplace, and Information sharing pages, Facebook clubs (I have also joined some clubs that share information about study abroad scholarships), look around and keep questions, it will be very helpful

The third resume I submitted was a free NFT online course held by the Frankfurt Blockchain Center in Germany. When I saw this event on Skyline's Facebook, I went to the official medium and website to see it, and finally signed up by myself ( I was also lucky to be admitted, because the competition seems to be quite fierce. After I was added to slack, I was surprised because everyone's self-introduction seemed very powerful and professional, and they have a long-term experience in the professional field. I'm not sure why I was admitted as a high school graduate with my work experience and great results XD)

Especially in the future world, I think the Internet will be more important, and the gap between entities will be narrowed because of the Internet. How to make good use of Internet resources, build information capabilities and media literacy capabilities is what we can do now~

6. Regularly organize your experiences

Whether it's to leave a comment, or to record what you did and learned at the event, it will be very helpful! In addition, I used Notion as a personal website, so I attached my personal website to the top of my resume (next to the contact information)

Although I personally don't like to quantify achievements and achievements in numbers (after all, there are so many gains that are indescribable, let alone using numbers to say...), but if there are these, it will be quite suitable to write in the resume.

7. Active and not impatient!

After I submitted my resume, I was actually very nervous, and the interview was also very nervous, so my dad told me this

After all, I really thought that I would be read, but it turned out to be one round, two rounds, and a third round... I'm really lucky...

Of course, you will always encounter the state of impostor syndrome. At this time, don't think too much. You can ask the person next to you where your strengths are, and then convince yourself to believe hahaha, or just take a break and continue.

Anyway, we are still young, even if we don’t get this opportunity, there will be other possibilities in the future! Maybe it's better for me, who knows~
