Star Chasing

The first time I chased a star, it was a real star. When I was in junior high school, I already loved watching stars. I imagined that one day I could get on a spaceship, leave the earth, and fly to the depths of the universe. So, it makes sense to get hooked on Star Wars later. The second chasing star is Star Wars Skywalker. At that time, I wrote a letter to the United States in clumsy English, and I couldn't write the address. There were three lines on the envelope: Mark Hamill, Los Angles, USA. Maybe Star Wars is so famous, and Skywalker is so famous, it's like writing a letter to Santa, and that letter actually goes to the recipient.

You are smart, you may have noticed that I even wrote the address wrong. It took many years to come to the United States, only to realize that the English spelling of Los Angeles has been wrong. When I was in junior high school, one day, I received a reply letter from the United States. It's a reply from Skywalker! Of course, the sender of the letter couldn't be himself. Santa Claus was so busy that it was impossible to reply to all the children who sent letters to him, but I was overjoyed at the time. The letter contained an autographed photo of Skywalker and a Star Wars membership form. The admission fee is US$25.

Twenty-five dollars, for a country child, is like flying out of the banking department. Where can I find twenty-five dollars to send to the United States? With this English membership form in hand, I can't do anything but get excited.

I was obsessed with Star Wars. Later, I told a male student in my class that he could help me go to the theater and steal the Star Wars movie poster. He even said that a certain cinema in Sham Shui Po was less crowded on weekdays, so he could start with a poster light box somewhere in the lobby of the cinema, and he had all the tools ready, just a word from me.

I'm a little afraid, not because I'm afraid of stealing the poster, but because I'm afraid that I owe him a debt of favor, and I don't know how to repay it in the future. Finally refused. I didn't have the money to go to the Sham Shui Po Cinema to steal posters, so the matter was over.

In the third time chasing stars, it is a star in the entertainment industry. The established years were long past. One time I watched MTV, and I accidentally saw a song. I thought it was very good, but the MTV male lead was extremely ugly. I thought, why don't you find a handsome guy to shoot?

Only later did I find out that the actor of MTV's "Heart Is Too Soft" is the singer himself—Xiao Qi! I called him that after all. He had just become popular in the mainland at that time and started to become popular and go back to Taiwan. However, the fan group is still very rudimentary, and I am fortunate to be a veteran.

When I was in my thirties, I went to the idol stage with teenage girls. Everyone was vying to sit in the front row and hold the light sign. I was too embarrassed to fight with them, so I stood in the last position and silently supported it.

Once in Taipei, I dined with a little Qi female fan who was older but much younger than me. Female fans are very infatuated with Xiao Qi, to the point of not marrying, but Xiao Qi already had a girlfriend at that time, a fact that everyone knows. I advised her that Xiao Qi is just your idol, not your object. But the female fans were too poisoned and kept moaning. When he was parting, he sent me a photo of Xiao Qi playing the guitar at the concert.

The size of the photo was just right in my wallet, so I just put the photo in it.

The wallets of those days are no longer used, and the photos have been pasted (over-plasticized).

As a result, one time I went to lunch at work and when I opened my wallet to pay, a colleague next to me asked me, "Well, is your boyfriend? He looks good."

Maybe Xiao Qi was not very popular at that time, but it was really embarrassing.

Later, I told my friends who are magazines about this, and the friend told a more classic real story:

A Hong Kong male singer went to the magazine's studio to take pictures one day, and a friend accompanies the male singer to take the elevator to the fifth floor studio. Another colleague entered the elevator on the third floor, glanced at the male singer, and said to my friend, "Hey, there is a new beauty (new subordinate), why don't you introduce me?"

My friend secretly leaned towards the male singer, and saw that his face was red and his ears were red. The photographer behind him bowed his head and laughed until his shoulders kept shaking. Even my friend felt that he was shaking. The temperature of the whole elevator dropped to zero...
