I haven't turned on the air conditioner yet this year!

The weather has been really hot recently. Looking back on the summer when I was a child, it was really not so hot.
In the past, the classrooms of elementary and middle schools were not air-conditioned. Although it was hot in summer, it was not too hot to bear.

In my impression, it seems that when we were in my country, Taiwan began to discuss "energy saving and carbon reduction", and it also promoted many related policies.
During a class meeting, the whole school watched the documentary "±2°C" together. The content is about the impact of climate change on Taiwan, hoping to arouse the public's attention to the issue of warming.
This documentary can still be seen on YouTube now. For the discussion of the information controversy of this documentary , you can refer to the analysis of the controversial points of "±2℃" on the low-carbon life blog.

To be honest, I have completely forgotten what the film is about.
I just remember that after watching the film, I realized that climate change is really a serious problem.
At the time, I thought, "Ah! My hair is so long, and I use the hair dryer for a long time when blowing my hair, which consumes a lot of energy, which is not good."
So I silently made a promise in my heart: I will cut my hair after the basic test (basic scholastic ability test, the previous high school test) !
wait! one! Down! That's a lot to complain about. XD
I don't know why, I don't just get a haircut right now? Wait until the exam is over? Or did I think that if I cut my hair, I would be out of luck? (I really forgot hahahahaha!)
On the day of the exam, I went to have my hair cut, from the original waist-length hair to five centimeters below my ears.
Arrived at school on Monday and terrified classmates and teachers.
Everyone saw me and asked, "Did you fail the exam?"
I laughed and said, "No way!!!" but I didn't tell anyone else why I cut my hair.
Looking back, I was really crazy. And to be honest, I don't know if this will help energy saving, but for me, as a middle school student at the time, I have already tried to start with some things that I can master!

Another thing is: I haven't turned on the air conditioner yet this year!
If you want a challenge, don't turn on the air conditioner this summer.
My current room is not equipped with air-conditioning. It happens that this room does not absorb heat as much as other rooms in the house (location factor?), so I only rely on an electric fan to support it until now.
Another reason that got me to this achievement: taking a cold shower.
Take a cold shower, the body is cool, and it really doesn't feel so hot.

Of course, in addition to these, our home is usually quite energy-saving, try to use natural light during the day, unplug electrical appliances that are not used for a long time, and keep the air conditioner at 26-28 ℃...
I think as long as everyone does more, it will be good for our environment. Even a small change, the power of all together can be powerful.
