Sowing Diary: Germination
The seeds sown last week have already begun to germinate in the past few days! Since planting, I have been watching with full expectations every day. When the seeds begin to sprout, I will count every day how many new babies are born today? The joy and sense of accomplishment of sowing are all in these short days~
This time, Xingdoujin, Luanfengyujin and Fei Mudanjin were broadcast. These varieties are suitable for growing in my climate all year round, and unlike sedum, the succulent seeds are not only large but also easy to germinate quickly. Xingdou is a chubby little green child with large or small white spots; Luanfengyu is a small star, sometimes with four corners and sometimes five corners, which can be white or green; Fei Peony seems to be an upgraded version The pocket, round but with water chestnuts and thorns.
If you have noticed, these three items all have the Chinese character Jin. "Jin" is not their name, but a state of mutation. The succulent plant is a genetic mutation, similar to albinism. It lacks chlorophyll, which makes it appear other colors such as white, red or yellow. It has higher ornamental value but is relatively weaker than ordinary plants. Plants with brocade are more expensive, and it is also possible that the brocade will slowly disappear over time. The seeds I bought this time have just sprouted and it can be seen that the brocade rate is not very good. But there is still hope for the future, because Jin itself is a kind of surprise.
Attached below is what I planted in August last year. It's been half a year and it's just a little bit. Planting requires patience and waiting for growth.
