Retaining the Childlike Interest in Life, Anna Kövecses Illustration Award
expression of love
Hungarian artist Anna Kövecses lives in a small seaside village in Cyprus, which has given her endless creative inspiration. She grew up in Eastern Europe and is now a mother of three children. She bakes fresh bread by herself every morning, picks fruits and vegetables in the garden, and accompanies the children to experiment with oil paintings, clay and small toys.
The digital collages created by Anna Kövecses are mainly composed of simple shapes, bright colors and a simple and unpretentious atmosphere. Overall, her work resembles children's digital collages, with simplicity, innocence and playfulness that imbue the finished product with a character of love. Anna Kövecses' unique style has also attracted magazines such as The New York Times, Time, and Monocle to collaborate with her.
