【Key Abstract】
Linktree mentioned in a tweet on 5/17 that they have officially entered the Web3 field and have partnered with OpenSea to launch three new features; allowing creators to showcase their NFTs while building their own Web3 brands and communities.
1️⃣NFT Gallery
Click "Explore" in the Links section, you can find two functions "OpenSea" and "NFT Gallery" "OpenSea": by entering the URL of OpenSea, the NFT will be displayed on the interface. (You can set a single sheet or the entire Collection)
"NFT Gallery": By linking the wallet, you can display your own NFTs, up to 6 at present.
2️⃣NFT avatar and background
In the Appearance section, click "Pick an image", and then click the option at the bottom and then connect the wallet to start the setup.
You can use NFT as the avatar and background. In order to make a difference, the NFT avatar frame is hexagonal like Twitter, and the NFT background has an extra Verifird tag.
3️⃣NFT lock
You will see a lock icon where you add the link. Click on NFT Contract Address and add the NFT contract address to enable this function.
This feature is available when a project party adds a specific link on its Linktree (like Discord). Only users who hold the specified NFT can see the link after the linked wallet is verified.
【idea】
I don't know if it was affected by Nametag or not. The upgrade of Linktree this time is very interesting to a Web3 person. I have played all three functions for a round, but my "NFT Gallery" and "Avatar" functions have always been The following two problems occur:
1️⃣The avatar cannot read any NFT in the wallet;
2️⃣When adding a link of NFT Gallery, the error message "Unable to load the link editor." keeps appearing.
After several correspondences, Linktree has indicated that they will make adjustments, so we have to look at the follow-up situation, and hope that the upgrade will be completed as soon as possible, so that I can complete the Linktree of myself and Demi.
I seriously think the presentation method of "OpenSea" is very good. This presentation method allows interested people to see the appearance of NFT directly on a single page, and then decide whether to link to OpenSea for selection.
The "NFT lock" function is a boon for the project party. If there are some links to exclusive Holders in the future, they can also be placed on Linktree, so that Holders don't have to work hard to climb the announcement...
If you are using Linktree, you might as well try the new function, it really completely solves the problem of integrating Web3 information before.
