Poem | I just need the next rain

"I just need the next heavy rain"

dark clouds drifting across the sky

Gather in the air

Hot and humid sticky air

breathless

whisper

As the spell on the head gets tighter and tighter

increased intraocular pressure

cracked head

hot cheeks

everything goes up

Heart is dyed grey

Descend with the clouds

I think I just need a rain

Let the cloud release its load

Moisturize the barren earth
