World Skills Competition (WorldSkills), also known as the World Skills Competition. It is an international competition held every two years and has a history of nearly 70 years. As a contestant, after being recommended by the school, municipal and provincial competitions, and entering the national competition, he becomes a candidate seed. After several months of special training, a representative contestant is selected to participate in the world skills competition. The training camp is reserved for the next session.

However, there are restrictions on the participation of players. First, they must be 22 years old or younger, and some events must be 24 years old or younger. Moreover, those who have participated in the World Skills Competition, including any event, no matter what the results are, cannot participate in it again, so it is called "one can only participate once in a lifetime".

as an expert

For each country and region, one contestant and one expert must be registered for each entry. Attach the resume of the expert, and the technical director of the project will review and determine whether it is eligible for review. Experts are often the main members of the training players in the local area, and when they come to the World Championships, they are also one of the main reliance of the players in other places.

After the competition, experts from all over the world will form a review team to score according to the established scoring criteria. The judging team is divided into groups of four. Scoring items are divided into objective and measurable scoring and more subjective industry standard scoring. Industry guidelines mean that if you are recruiting talents now, observe whether a certain branch of the specified work meets the employment criteria, and score from 0 to 3 points, and the interval between all reviews cannot exceed one point.

The management team is composed of project technical director, chief expert and deputy chief expert. Among them, the chief expert and deputy chief expert are voted by all experts each term. The project technical director (Skill Competition Manager) is appointed by the conference. These three people managed the entire competition in division of labor, including expert review grouping, on-site coordination, implementation of each schedule, and on-site co-ordination of the contestants' competition.

I have been the regional representative expert since 2009, the deputy general expert in 2017, and the technical director of this project since 2019. Basically the whole project is now in my hands. The technical director of the project starts working two years before the start of the competition to prepare for the competition, including formulating the materials and equipment for the competition and announcing it one year in advance, so that each region has sufficient training preparation time. At the same time, it is also necessary to formulate the competition topics and scoring details. There must be more than 100 detailed scoring items, with a maximum of 250 items, and each item cannot exceed 2 points on the 100-point scale.

And each scoring item must also set its technical category. This technical category is revised by all experts and approved by at least 80% of experts from all over the world, and then sent to companies in this industry in different regions of the world. Watch them carefully ask if this occupational technical field matches the technical field they hired and worked in.

The score of each topic and its classification cannot exceed 5% of the above-mentioned occupational technical fields. This ensures that the gold content and level of the medals obtained in each session are similar, and closely follow the development of the times. As for the website technology project I belong to, I pursue 0% difference every time, and the competition proportion of each module on the four days is equal.

And since the technical director of the project is in charge of setting questions and other work, it is stipulated that he cannot participate in this selection and cannot contact any players in private, so why do I say that I am no longer leading the team to the competition, because now there are more than 20 to 30 players and experts who came here , I have to take good care of them. As a player, I only have one chance to come here. My task is to give them the best experience that is fair, open and willing to share with relatives and friends when they go back, so that they can leave glory in their successful careers. side.

Macau has sent players to compete since 1985.
