Amei (Zhang Huimei) celebrates her 50th birthday today!
On August 9, 1972, Zhang Huimei (Amei) was born.
On December 13, 1996, the first album "Sisters" made Amei an instant hit.
1999 should be the culmination of Amei's career. "Can I Hold You" was a big hit again, and Amei's 99 concerts were held all over the mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.
2000 was a watershed for Amei, as well as a watershed for cross-strait entertainment circles and cross-strait relations.
Amei sang the national anthem at the inauguration ceremony of the President of Taiwan, and was banned by the mainland until around July 2001.
Her popularity and record sales in the music world have also been surpassed by new singers.
In 2001, her first album "Real" joined the new record company, which made her a golden song queen.
In 2004, rumors circulated on the Internet that Amei supported Taiwan independence. She had to go to Phoenix TV to clarify.
Amei is the first artist who was accused of Taiwan independence and forced to clarify and admit her mistakes.
What happened in the past ten years, Amei is the first to experience it.
In 2009, "Amit" made Amei a golden song again, and won ten nominations and six awards.
My favorite song on the album is "Rainbow".
Among Amei's songs in recent years, "Behind You" has left a deep impression on me.
Life, death, parting, burial...
