ask questions! What's the difference between Hot, Hot, and Essence on the matters homepage?

I have been curious about this question for a long time, but I haven't found any rules until now, and I don't seem to find any relevant introductions in the official guide. My understanding of these three sections is roughly as follows:

Hot & Hot: almost the same section. Although it is not directly related to the amount of clapping or the number of comments, it has a reference density (ex: how many people clapped in the same time period)

Essence: Articles officially pushed to the homepage
