Chat about something taboo

When I heard it for the first time, I was super surprised~

I still remember the first time I heard this statement, Xiaolu, who was only 19 years old~

Xiaolu, who has lived in Tainan most of his life since he was a child, when he heard that the younger sister he knew wanted to get married, he naturally asked her to go worship the moon together. It would be a waste to live in Tainan and not worship the moon!
We have four elders, and in addition to the general business of seeking red thread marriages, we also have dedicated ones.

Depending on your status, whether you are single or have a partner, whether you want to be a mistress or want to get married soon, whether you want to cut off the bad relationship or want to get back together, we have full-time Yue Lao waiting for the confused people~

Then I heard my sister, who is one year younger than me, say to me:
No, I'm on my period now, so I can't go to the temple to worship.

.....What?

Later, after asking around, I learned that there is a saying that menstruation is filthy, so you cannot go to the temple to worship...

What the hell are you talking about? Tell me once if you have the guts!

Pure photos, nothing to do with content

( All the photos in this article were taken because there was no place to put them. They were put here as illustrations. They have nothing to do with this article~ )

Of course, this is only a partial view. Some people say that it is because during this period, just like the confinement period, the vitality is weak and disrespectful to God. Just don't take incense and worship with both hands.

.....First of all, I think no one will come out to say goodbye during the confinement period, right?
Next..., what if we are afraid that the righteousness of the gods will affect those who are physically weak? ....Wouldn’t it be worse for those who are sick to go to the temple to worship?
(Of course, if the patient is difficult to move, he really shouldn’t say goodbye)

But no matter what... I personally don’t think this so-called taboo has anything to do with gods...
If it must be related, I personally think it is only related to men, and they are still unfilial men.

Xiaolu’s mother is a Buddhist. I have never heard of such taboos since I was a child. Xiaolu’s mother used to practice with a tantric master. I have never seen my mother or my master’s wife exempt from practicing because of their menstrual period. I have not read Buddhist scriptures myself. I have seen that women can give up their spiritual practice because of their menstrual period.

Buddha is always compassionate and non-discriminatory. How could there be such a taboo?

I originally wanted to buy it but didn’t.

Although I am not familiar with Taoist Fawn, the gods have also had female bodies in the world. How could they not understand the hardship and inconvenience of women? For the gods who are male in the world, which god is not filial in the world? There is no such god!
And as long as a filial god is alive, he will definitely love and respect his mother. What mother has no menstruation?
How could it happen that a mother is on her period, and then the child says you are filthy and don’t come to see me now!
How could such a thing happen!

This is definitely a taboo created by some unfilial and unhygienic man!

What's more... even the medical assistants who schedule the next patient consultation know to help female aunts and mothers stagger the first and fifteenth days of the Lunar New Year and the days when worshiping ancestors, because it is traditional to prepare sacrifices, etc. Ninety-nine percent of the blame falls on women, figure it out! When we need to prepare the three animals and four fruits, we women have to do the work, but when it comes to arranging the incense and setting off the firecrackers, it is the men who have to deal with it. There is such a thing!

You were never beaten by your mother when you were a child, right?

I almost bought them all

The reason why Xiaolu was shocked that time was probably because the person who told me about this taboo was actually a woman one year younger than me...

Kind of..., sister, how can you listen and tell you this taboo, and still believe it, without the shock of beating someone on the spot...

Of course, 0.0 Xiaolu's living environment is basically relatively simple, and he doesn't come into contact with many people. Maybe the taboo in this area really has its origin, but I don't know much about it. If so, please bear with Xiaolu( ○′ω`○)

When I was writing this article, I did a search, and there was a theory that seemed to make sense. It said that low-level ghosts and gods are prone to anger and greed when they see blood.
(…..Probably similar to…. It means that menstruation is not a good time to visit a vampire. The question is why would someone visit a vampire?)
Well... then we can just go to the temple of Zhengshen to worship and close the case.

What do you think about this taboo?

It tastes good. I’ll buy this one.

It just suddenly occurred to me that based on the stability and reliability of the previous menstrual blood leakage prevention equipment... In the past, women should not just say goodbye during their menstrual period, but would not want to attend any place..., it was too easy. It leaked….
So..., could it be that a certain woman back then was busy praying for her period because she didn't want it, so she just took the opportunity to rest under the pretense of being inconvenient and bleeding?

Will I solve the case?
What do you think?
