Cassandra Wilson was born in Mississippi in 1955, which is the region where the blues species are grown. And her parents not only love music, blues, grassroots ballads to jazz, and jazz influences her the most.

She learned the piano in her childhood, and later learned the clarinet to join the military band, but she was really tired of the training method of the military band, and begged her father to teach her the guitar, but her father recommended her to learn by herself, and she really picked up the guitar and started to learn by herself, and began Create songs.
