For the past eight months, she and her husband have been searching for evidence every day, hoping to find the reason why Kuan Kuan jumped off the building after school.

Over the past few months, they have obtained classroom surveillance videos on the day of the incident and the first ten days, and based on the video content and reports from other parents, they have repeatedly provided the Jiujiang City Education Bureau with the Kuankuan class teacher Zou who ridiculed, discriminated against students, and accepted bribes. clues. At the end of June this year, under the circumstances of the slow progress of the incident, they reported with their real names and made public the evidence they obtained on multiple online platforms, hoping that the relevant departments would further investigate and hold Zou accountable.

The real-name report video brought back the story of "11-year-old boy committed suicide by jumping off a building, leaving a suicide note accusing the head teacher of violence". On July 10, 2022, the Jiujiang Education Bureau notified that Zou had violated teacher ethics by accepting gifts and other issues. However, in response to Kuankuan's death, the local public security said that the facts of Zou's illegal and criminal activities have not yet been found.

Regarding this result, Kuankuan's parents said that they would "continue to fight" and pursue accountability through private criminal prosecution. In the process of reasoning and reviewing the whole incident, Wang Beilei and her husband had to repeatedly talk about the day they lost Kuankuan.

Every time I think of November 9, 2021, Beilei Wang is "heartbroken". It was Grandpa Kuankuan's birthday that day. When he came home for dinner at noon, Kuankuan was very excited. He said that he would help make a fire and wear mutton skewers at night, and told his mother to wait for him to come back. But after school in the afternoon, Kuan Kuan left a suicide note, jumped from the 24th floor of a building, and never returned home.

The Shuangfeng Primary School where Kuan Kuan is studying is only one road away from home. That day, Wang Beilei found that Kuan Kuan hadn't come home 5 minutes later than usual, so she rode a "little electric donkey" to pick him up from school.

At the school gate, Wang Beilei saw Kuankuan's head teacher and language teacher Zou Mou, who told her that "Kuankuan may have to jump off the building". Wang Beilei quickly thought that she could call 120 to check the car's departure record, so as to confirm whether Kuankuan jumped off the building. The coordination meeting lasted until four in the morning the next day, and a few hours later they went to the funeral home to hold Kuankuan's funeral. In the past few days, they didn't say a word to the outside world, so there were many rumors about Kuankuan in the local area. During the eight-month visit, investigation and difficult evidence collection, Kuankuan's family obtained the classroom surveillance video on the day of the incident and the first ten days, which is also one of the most critical pieces of evidence.

After the accident, Kuankuan's family members repeatedly asked to view the classroom video, but were told that the video and sound could not be recovered, only the video data. It was not until November 17 that Zhang Dingjie personally brought the technicians to restore the video sound. When he heard Mr. Zou, the head teacher, scolded Kuan Kuan loudly, saying that Kuan Kuan was a "liar" and a "debt king", Zhang Dingjie was so angry that he "just wanted to smash the computer."

Fifty-eight days after the incident, Kuan Kuan's family was allowed two full days to watch classroom surveillance video from October 26 to November 9.

Excluding weekends and Kuankuan's absence from school, this video is valid for 11 days and is valid for about 90 hours. After watching all the videos in two days, the time is very tight.

In the morning, the police station goes to work at 8:00. They are afraid of traffic jams, so they always arrive an hour early. While watching the video, they sat in front of the computer for more than ten hours a day, and they made lunch and dinner in three or five minutes.

Kuan Kuan's elderly grandfather also came to help. When he was tired, he would sit on the table next to him and take a nap, and then let Kuan Kuan's father on top. In the past two days, in addition to going to the toilet, Wang Beilei did not miss a minute of the video content. She made sure that at least two family members watched each video to prevent any details from being missed.

They found in the video ten days before the incident that Zou called Zhang Kuan to the office many times, in addition to physical contact, punishment, changing seats and many criticisms. For example, the video at 9:40 a.m. on November 2 shows that after checking the homework of a classmate and Zhang Kuan, Zou first pushed the former's head with his hand, and then waved a book to Kuan Kuan's head and said: " Zhang Kuan, weren't you a very honest person before? You've become a ghost now, aren't you?"

On the day of the incident, Zou criticized Zhang Kuan more than three times than the parents had learned before. That day, Zou criticized Zhang Kuan in front of the whole class: "Zhang Kuan is the king of debts! The booklet is not enough! The test paper is not enough! The composition and composition are still in debt!", "I never dreamed of wide Kuan is a liar in our class and keeps his word."

Wang Beilei later analyzed the surveillance video ten days before the incident, that the test paper was sent by Zou to the students who stayed at the school at noon on November 7 for everyone to revise and hand in, while Zhang Kuan went home for lunch at noon, he may not agree. When criticizing another student, Zou's words also pointed to Kuan Kuan: "Do you want to be the same as Zhang Kuan? Do you understand self-esteem and self-love? When seeing these contents, Wang Beilei couldn't help crying. Kuankuan's father and grandfather were often so angry and sad that they couldn't watch it anymore. "criticize".

Reports from parents of other students

In addition to the discovery of physical evidence, over the past eight months, Zhang Dingjie and Wang Beilei have also successively contacted the parents of many students, and some students whom Zou had taught before found them through the video platform, and the other party provided Zou's acceptance of bribes, ridicule and discrimination against students. The first parent of the student to contact Beilei Wang was Yang Yang's father. Before the incident, they were not acquainted with Yangyang's father. The reason why the other party took the initiative to call after the incident was related to a small incident before Kuankuan's death.

Kuan Kuan kept dogs, fish, turtles, hamsters, and birds at home. A few days before the incident, Kuan Kuan picked up a snail with a broken shell in the garden of the community and took it home to "recover". On the morning of November 9, Kuankuan found the little snail foaming at the mouth, and was very worried. He checked the information on the Internet, soaked the little snail in warm water, and picked a small cabbage leaf for the snail to eat, and placed it in the It was brought to school in a small transparent bottle with a vent hole.

In the afternoon class, Kuan Kuan wrote two suicide notes in the class and planned to jump off the building. Before leaving school, he had not forgotten to entrust the snail to his classmate Yang Yang, and explained the precautions he had found one by one. After Kuankuan left, Yangyang took the snail home. Yangyang's father told Wang Beilei: "We teach our children to change leaves for snails. My wife and I cried at home for three days. We feel so sorry for the child Kuankuan. We also have something to say about Zou."

Yangyang's father confessed to Kuankuan's family that only if Zou was suspended from work, other parents dared to speak. In December 2021, the class changed teachers, and parents gradually revealed more details about Zou, mainly involving Zou's "violent treatment of students" and "acceptance of bribes".

Some parents of students told Wang Beilei that they had invited Zou to dinner and sent shopping cards. A classmate proved to Wang Beilei that on the day of the crime, Zou pinched his wide face to make him stand up. In addition, some classmates told Wang Beilei that Mr. Zou would stick tape on students' mouths at school and even squeeze students through the door. On November 22, 2021, the parents of two students in Zhang Kuan's class jointly signed a report, reporting Zou's "violent treatment of students".

Wang Beilei recalled that they had also arranged for Zou's family to travel. It was on August 10, 2020. Zou took the initiative to contact Kuankuan's family by WeChat, saying that he saw that many hotels on Lushan were full. If he wanted to go up the mountain on Friday or Thursday, he needed to book two rooms. The next day, Zou sent another photo of the room and asked them, "Can you help me book this room." The invoice provided by Wang Beilei to the reporter from Beiqingshen showed that on August 14, 2020, they paid a total of 1,600 yuan for the room. Yuan helped Zou arrange accommodation. On August 15 and 16, 1,000 yuan and 500 yuan were transferred to the homestay respectively.

Zhang Dingjie and Wang Beilei handed over the evidence to the relevant departments. In addition, they also learned from other parents that many parents gave Zou a card, a cash red envelope, a middleman to give gifts, or visited Zou with a gift when he was hospitalized.

Wang Beilei said that in fact, no parent is willing to take the initiative to spend their wages on teachers, but they are worried that once their behavior makes Teacher Zou dissatisfied, the teacher will in turn embarrass the children. Compared with complaining to the school about the teacher or transferring the child to another school, agreeing to the teacher's explicit and secret request is the fastest and most effective way to "solve the problem" that Wang Beilei can think of.

Regarding the content of the above-mentioned report, a reporter from Shenzhen once contacted Zou Mou several times, but did not get a reply from the other party.

continue to file criminal charges

After June 28, Zhang Dingjie successively released reporting videos on multiple platforms. In the video, Zhang Dingjie held his ID card and asked to investigate the case of Zou's abnormal death that caused Zhang Kuan, and to hold Zou accountable. Zhang Dingjie said that it was "extremely helpless" to go to the step of real-name reporting, because he had not received satisfactory answers to his "requests" made to relevant departments before.

According to Zhang Dingjie, as early as December 2021, they filed a private criminal prosecution with the Lianxi District Court of Jiujiang City, requesting that Zou be convicted of insult and be held criminally responsible. In the middle of the month, the case was filed, but as of June 2022, the case has yet to go to trial.

Regarding the Public Security Bureau, Zhang Kuan’s family reported to the inspection team on April 20, 2022, requesting the Lianxi Sub-bureau of Jiujiang Public Security Bureau to initiate a case filing and investigation process for the incident of “Zou caused Zhang Kuan’s abnormal death”, but has not received a reply.

Until July 1, three days after releasing the real-name report video, Zhang Dingjie received an official written reply, which said that "Zou has no criminal facts."

After the video was released, Kuankuan's family also waited for a reply from the Education Bureau. On July 10, the Education Bureau notified Zou's handling opinions. The report pointed out that Zou had "issues such as illegally accepting red envelopes and gifts from service objects, accepting banquets from service objects and accepting accommodation arrangements in Lushan Mountain", "repeatedly sarcastic and discriminatory behaviors against many students and other issues that violated the ethics of teachers and teachers", give Zou In a certain party, a serious warning and punishment, the punishment of lowering the level of two positions, and the transfer from the teaching post were dealt with.

Kuan Kuan’s family still cannot fully accept Zou’s current handling results. After the real-name report video was released, some netizens privately messaged them and asked them why they didn't pay attention to their children's mental health before. Wang Beilei explained that she has professional knowledge in psychology. Every time she picks up Kuankuan on the way home, she will pay attention to observe the child's micro-expressions, then ask about what happened in the school and enlighten Kuankuan.

Wang Beilei remembered that Kuankuan once told her that Teacher Zou once said to a girl in class, "You have such poor grades, what's the point of living, why don't you just go to the opposite community to find a high-rise building and jump off". At that time, Wang Beilei was shocked.
