"The Call of Angels": There is always hope in life
While reading "The Call of the Angel", I was reminded of another novel by Quiyo Musso, "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" ", a man and a woman contact each other through a computer/telephone. It starts with mild hostility, leads to curiosity, and continues to explore more information about each other. Finally, it turns into an investigation, turning the romance novel into an investigative novel. But of course there are differences. The case investigated in "The Call of Angels" is more complex, and the connection between the male and female protagonists is stronger.
The story tells that the heroine who lives in Paris and the hero who lives in San Francisco exchanged their mobile phones at the airport. While contacting each other to retrieve their mobile phones, they both checked the contents of each other's mobile phones out of curiosity, and gradually learned what kind of person the other person was. people.
Although I have always wondered, if the phone had a password installed, this story would not have happened at all. Okay, but the story has to go on, so the reader can see this tight and twisty story.
In the usual style of Kiyu Musso, the protagonists all have sad pasts, and the healing effect is achieved through encounters. The male protagonist in this novel was originally a three-star Michelin chef with a successful career and a happy family. However, his wife suddenly had a tryst with his best friend, and then he went bankrupt. He lost his fighting spirit and started running a humble restaurant in a small village. The heroine has a fiancé who loves her deeply, but she is burdened with unbearable regrets.
The male and female protagonists are involved because they exchanged mobile phones, but it turns out that their fate started earlier, but they were unaware of it, and it also involved the murder of a girl. There is definitely a case within the case and a love within the love. . My emotions were ups and downs while reading this novel. The plot was unexpected again and again, making me want to read it in one sitting.
No matter how suspenseful Guiyu Musso's novels are, they always have healing qualities. Every time you accompany the protagonist from the lowest ebb in life to a happy ending, you will feel a sudden sense of relief, just like what is said in the book. Said: "The best days of life are the days that are yet to come."
Life always has hope. The angel of life may have already appeared, but we haven't noticed it yet.
