rules of work
I've always felt that work can be categorized by "repetitive patterns".
One uses "minutes" as a unit.
The work is repeated every minute, such as the cashier in the supermarket.
Sometimes I yearn for a job like this, because I don't have to think about it.
But of course I know it's extremely boring, just imagine doing the same thing every minute, it's weird if you don't suffocate.
One uses "day" as a unit.
Daily work is repetitive, such as secretary.
The documents and phone calls handled every day are similar. Of course, there are occasional emergencies, but they should only account for a small number. Therefore, as long as you master certain skills, you can do the job well.
Repeating the same work every day means that after waking up from work this day, you still have to face the same work.
One uses "month" as a unit.
The work may vary slightly from day to day, but certain tasks are fixed every month, such as editing a monthly magazine.
The repetition cycle is extended, and new challenges must be faced every month.
As long as the planning is good, the work that is done once a month is not difficult to complete, and it is often lived in a concept of "one month so soon".
One uses "year" as a unit.
Jobs always cycle every year, such as hotel PR.
When I was working in a hotel, in addition to my daily work, I repeated promotion activities on different festivals every year, such as New Year's Day, Chinese New Year, Easter, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, summer vacation, Christmas... oh, again one Year.
Relatively speaking, it is not so easy to feel dull,
However, as the working years get longer, it is easy to fall into a dead end. I always make adjustments on the basis of last year to make this year's strategy. Even if there are many new ideas, one day will be exhausted. I repeated the same activities five, six, seven times. After that, I couldn't think of anything new, so I had to abdicate and let Xian.
A hybrid.
Some jobs are repeated every day, some are repeated monthly, and some are repeated every year.
One that never repeats.
Well, is there really such a job?
Even if the job changes (such as being an artist), the nature of the job is actually the same.
If the work is never repeated, every second is a new challenge.
Fun, but exhausting.
What kind of job is your job?
What kind of job do you like?
