Function Update Announcement｜Editor Adjustment, User Data Weekly Report Suspension

1. Editor update, continuous adjustment

The editor is where citizens of Matt write articles and create works. The old version of the editor had many root-cause problems in the past. In order to provide a better writing experience, the editor has been greatly adjusted and continuously optimized. For new features/changes, please refer to the following instructions:

【This update/adjustment】

1. Added nine basic Markdown grammar functions: title (support H2, H3), bold font, strikethrough, code (code block), reference, ordered list, unordered list, link, divider, etc.

2. Support uploading multiple pictures at one time: just select multiple pictures when uploading

3. The function of inserting video is newly supported by bilibili; the function of inserting code is newly supported by Codepen.

4. Copying the link from elsewhere will automatically bring the original URL, no need to add it.

5. Hyperlink font color adjustment: change from green to black to make the picture more harmonious and unified. Text with links will be automatically underlined to strengthen the reminder.

6. Divider line style adjustment: from line to dot

【Temporarily removed function】

1. The function of directly dragging pictures from the computer desktop to the editor

2. Copy content from other websites/documents to the Matters editor, the text will be preserved, and the pictures will be removed

We found that the steps of dragging/directly copying pictures may lead to more bugs in the article, so the above functions are temporarily removed.

【Bug fix】

1. Fixed the problem that the number of words was incorrectly calculated when revising the work

2. The weekly data report is suspended

In the past two years, Matters has provided a weekly data report service for the citizens of Matters. Many citizens have written articles to share their "Top Ten Fans", important creative achievements, etc., and accompany everyone to grow along the creative road.

Matty found that the frequency of sending weekly reports has become increasingly unstable recently. After confirmation, it was found that some old settings needed to be readjusted. In order to provide better data services, the weekly user data report needs to be sent temporarily for a period of time. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. After the adjustment is completed in the future, I hope to meet the community again with a better appearance.
