Random photos and random writing | Flowers blooming from the toilet
I took this photo while hiking the day before yesterday. If I remember correctly, this is the second time I have seen a toilet potted plant. The first time was in a small town in the Douro River Basin. I passed by a family's yard and saw a toilet placed high on the wall. The succulents inside were growing vigorously.
Human inventions are put into nature and become nature's pots. The objects are worn out and decayed, and their original use value is no longer there, but they gain new life because they are filled with plants. The dirt they once touched is cleaned and decomposed by the soil, plants and microorganisms in the sunshine and rain over time. The person who came up with this idea is simply the Duchamp of nature.
Imagine if there were no more humans on Earth, all human inventions would be swallowed up by nature. This scene is probably the abbreviation of doomsday.
It can be said to be environmentally friendly recycling and it can also be done from the source: I hope we can produce fewer "toilets" and leave more space for "flowers".
