Today, I came to visit the sushi restaurant "Huatei Sushi Monopoly" that has been operating in Minxiong for more than ten years.

I used to occasionally dine in the store with my classmates when I was in college, but the location of the store was not here at that time, and the storefront was much simpler than it is now. When my old classmates came back a few years ago, they visited together, and the interior decoration of the store changed a lot.

This time, I will bring you all to visit again.

As soon as you enter the store, you can see a very stylish plate at the bottom. Three to four chefs will make sushi there. In the past, only the boss himself! Sure enough, the scale has expanded a lot.

There is also a very exaggerated patio next to it, so that the indoor lighting is very sufficient.

If you look closely, there are landscaping and water curtain walls inside.

There are also several orange goldfish in the optimized green pond. But the first time I saw it, there was only one thought in my mind:

"is it necessary?"

In addition to the bar area, there are dining seats for four to six people in the front.

The seating area feels a lot more modest. It was already after lunch when we ate, and there were not many people. The above picture was taken when we left.

The wasa rice, soy sauce, tableware and plates in the store are all picked up by the fish pond.

There is cassia tea at the bottom of the opposite seating area, but I don't want to drink hot tea on a hot day.

There is a menu book with pictures in the store, but you still have to draw the list yourself on another order list.

Salmon sashimi rice bowl, 270 yuan (NTD)

The front looks super imposing, with eight pieces of salmon sashimi sprinkled with shrimp eggs, and the crab sticks at the back are also very popular. The green color of the peas makes the fresh fish in front more vivid.

However, after turning it 180 degrees, I felt a little shabby, and the back was supported by mashed potatoes!

how to say? I think as far as the fish itself is concerned, the freshness is no problem, the presentation is also very delicate, and it looks good in photos, but the big pile of mashed potatoes in the back is really enough.

In fact, there are fewer fish fillets than I imagined, and although the photo looks like a big bowl, the bowl itself is actually not big, so it only "looks" big, but it actually tastes quite small.

Huating comprehensive sushi, 100 yuan

In fact, it was because we felt that there was a little bit of food, so we ordered sushi to pamper our stomachs. The flower sushi is pretty good, but it's not very special, it's almost as expected.

Comprehensive Nigiri Sushi, 165 yuan (eight pieces)

I haven't eaten a few of this plate, so I can't comment. The color matching is very beautiful, but now I think about it carefully , isn't that crab-flavored nigiri sushi enough? Hahaha

It's a far cry from other seafood grades! At least everyone is a real fish, you are a fish paste product!

Salmon sashimi, 290 yuan

The 7 pieces of salmon fillets are fresh and the size of the slices is moderate. They are also very imposing, but the price is still a little bit disgusting from my friends at the same table, and I think it seems a bit expensive.

At least by the standards of Minxiong Township, another corner "Matsuzaka House" has also written before that the price of 200 yuan is more (and fresh), and we all feel that it is not worthwhile.

Fresh fish miso soup, 30 yuan

At the price of 30 yuan, we have to start comparing this bowl of miso soup with Sushi Conveyor. The price is the same, but I have to say that there are more miso soups that compete for freshness , but this one is not so salty , it is more comfortable to drink, but the umami is also less.

Chawanmushi, 45 yuan

Chawanmushi is the most recommended meal I have eaten today . There are many fabrics in it, and there is a whole piece of fish meat. The steamed egg itself is also super tender, which is very good! With the price of 45 yuan, this level is very good.

It's a pity that I patronized and ate, and when I remembered that I should take a photo, I had already eaten it up. I'm sorry!

In the end, I have to add 270 yuan to this piece, because there are too few things, and the three of them can't eat enough, and I have to order a salmon sashimi rice bowl, so the total price should be: 1275 yuan.

On the whole, I think that after the move, the upgraded "Huatei Sushi Monopoly" is a completely different store than what I remembered back then: good food, delicious taste, and high cost performance.

When I was a college student, I used to go to their store for dinner with my friends on weekends. The memories of exquisite and delicious food have been removed. Although the decoration is quite gorgeous, it also lacks the sense of family and humanity.

Although people pass by this restaurant every now and then, there are still people queuing up to eat, but I always feel that the food is not so good anymore, it is probably just ordinary!

Although it is true that the ingredients are fresh and the dishes look good , compared with the same type of stores in the same area, the price/performance ratio is still a big loss, but if you want to enjoy the dining environment that is a little illusory, you can still try it. Look, after all, things are still delicious, just not so cheap.
