A Story of Warm Healing--"Heidi and Grandpa"
In 2015, a German-Swiss co-production feature film "Heidi and Grandpa" was released. When I found out that Bruno Ganz, who played Heidi's grandfather, was Hitler's actor in "The Destruction of the Empire", I immediately felt how familiar and unfamiliar (laughs).
The view of the Alps is really beautiful. The blue sky and white clouds and the green grass give people a feeling of relaxation and freedom. As a child who only lived in the smoky second-tier cities in China and the urban-rural borders on the Great Plains of the United States, I really wanted to experience life away from the hustle and bustle of the world.
What kind of person is our little hero Heidi? She is very optimistic, but she still faces everything in the world with a smile after losing her parents; she is very self-reliant, when her grandfather is overwhelmed when she is new to her and dare not accept her, she obediently sleeps in the sheepfold; she is very kind, her friend Pete When flogging two fighting sheep, she stopped him and promised to share half of his sausage and cheese; she valued friendship, and Clara was sick and needed her company, she would rather sleepwalk than leave her friends; she also yearned for freedom, not willing Obey the rigid rules, only willing to run with the sheep on the mountain. Most importantly, she has a kind of pure sincerity. Her sincerity infected everyone: the shopkeeper spoke for Heidi and Clara when they were discovered by their tutors when they sneaked out of the house; the maid also named the cat "Heidi".
Heidi's grandfather, strange and cute. She is a bit withdrawn, doesn't like to talk to people, and is often gossip by the villagers. He was so used to it that when innocent Heidi called "Grandpa" with an innocent smile, his first reaction was to avoid and push her away. In the eyes of the villagers, he is a very difficult person to get along with. But in Heidi's eyes, he would always be the grandfather who urged her to drink milk, accompany her skiing, and make her a chair. because she knows,
Trust your eyes and ears, not gossip.
In addition to warmth, there are also some thought-provoking places in the film.
About Higher Education
The tutor, Miss Rottenmeier, was full of disgust when she saw Heidi, and felt that the children in the mountains were inferior. She bound the children with rules, and the day's itinerary was full, and she did not give the children the opportunity to get in touch with nature. Children growing up in the castle, no one loses when it comes to etiquette. But in the golden stage of cultivating interest and building character, this will only kill nature and reduce happiness at the same time.
Clara's grandma is the character I admire the most in the whole movie. Aristocratic origin, elegant manner, but no air. Seeing Heidi, grandma said to her: "Just call me grandma". Hearing the tutor complained that Heidi was illiterate, the grandmother did not directly blame, but communicated with Heidi herself to find out the reason. After learning that Heidi was listening to Pitt's theory that "reading is useless", grandma carefully persuaded her to use storybooks to arouse her desire to learn.
When I went back to the countryside to visit Grandpa Heidi, my grandmother didn't dislike the unpurified wine at Grandpa's house. When Heidi wanted to write a story when she grew up, when she was laughed at by her classmates, her grandmother said this:
That's how little they know, Heidi. Because they only know this village. But you've seen so much more in this world, haven't you? If there is one thing that makes you happy, just do it, no matter what others say.
Higher education should not stick to the rules, but learn how to treat others with equality, gentleness and sincerity while reading poetry and books. To learn to read, but also to learn how to behave.
About disease
After Clara's mother died, she fell ill and was unable to walk. The father traveled all over the city to find the best doctor for his daughter, but still could not cure her. However, after Clara went to the country with Heidi, looking at the blue sky, green grass, and butterflies, Clara tried to hold the stone, step by step towards the direction the butterfly flew away, and miraculously walked underground.
Clara's illness is not in her body, but in her heart. The cure is to not trap her in the house and give her mind a place to run. You see some lovesickness, depression, and even some cancers, which are all caused by psychological pressure and burden. Go for a walk in nature more, to cure diseases, first cure the heart.
The film is based on a fairy tale. The meaning of fairy tales, I think, is to teach children what kind of people they should be. Don't lie, or your nose will grow; don't be afraid of setbacks, the ugly duckling can fly; don't give up kindness, the match girl will enter heaven even if she freezes to death on a cold winter night.
For adults who have seen too many human beings, if you have been cured by Heidi and Grandpa, you must be a gentle, sincere and kind person.
Many people felt that the film was unrealistic because it was too good. Indeed, the characters in the film, from Heidi, Grandpa, Pete, Clara, to Clara's family, the waiter, are all sincere and loving. Even the rigid tutoring and the money-seeking Aunt Heidi did not harm Heidi's purpose and behavior. Most of the time, sincerity may not always be rewarded, which is very sad. Still, like Heidi, I treat everyone with my heart. Even if no one taught me to do it, even if I knew I would be let down, I would do it. Because what can be exchanged for sincerity is only sincerity.
A friend said he hated the world and was disappointed in it. Then, I have a big dream: I hope to be like Heidi, let my existence add a little beauty to the world, so that he will not be disappointed in the world.
Finally, a funny screenshot: The tutor is afraid of cats, and when he saw Heidi and Clara buy back the kitten, he was so frightened 😂
