In 2020, I met Matters [Experience] to fill the gap of emotional connection
Matt City held an event to record his 2020 with 11 questions in the 10 days to the count. These are all good questions (except for question 6 that I can't understand...), through Matt City's questions, thinking about the answers, and sorting out the big and small things this year.
Although the annual review was done on this year's birthday, the situation has changed drastically after five weeks.
I decided to put this article in the last category on the official website that has not yet been created: emotional connection, because the interaction with readers is a kind of cross-time and space connection that has never been seen before.
1) There are only ten days left in 2020, share an event that you didn’t expect to happen this year at the beginning of the year? How has this event changed your life?
What surprised me most was the imbalance of physical and mental conditions in the first half of the year. This 2020 [Annual Review] full of surprises and surprises is described in detail.
I consider myself a very optimistic and positive person, who likes to learn and grow, and is not afraid of difficulties and challenges. But when I get to middle age, I think in my heart that my body may not be able to do it...
In the spring of 2020, for the sake of good health, I joined the exercise of standing up and squatting. Unrestricted venue and equipment, I can do 200 times a day, and almost every day. However, after three months, the cramps became worse and worse, and it was difficult to even stand. The doctor announced: You are a herniated disc, an unavoidable aging phenomenon...
The constant work stress and sleep disruption made me tired every day like a dog with its tongue sticking out and panting. I was in good spirits during the day, but after noon, especially close to the evening, the fatigue hit and overwhelmed me like a tsunami. At night, mixed negative thoughts often flood into my mind. Although I learned to go to sleep as soon as I recognize this situation, I still cannot change my increasingly negative psychological state. The doctor announced: You are in the early stage of depression and need to take medicine to relieve...
It was a really bad first half.
2) In 2020, what gives you the deepest sense of meaning?
Definitely setting up my own WordPress official website and joining Matt City gave my heart an outlet.
3) The global epidemic is still severe, please record an epidemic event that you think is worth remembering.
Due to the epidemic, the six-month-planned free travel in Italy was canceled, saying goodbye to the first European self-driving travel, the first class cabin of Qatar Airways, and the three-day JW Marriott Hotel experience in Venice.
Although it is a pity, it is the greatest happiness for traveling companions and family members to be safe.
4) How has travel restrictions in 2020 changed your relationship with others/the world? Is there any person/thing that you must see/do when the epidemic is over?
The biggest change is from a Marriott hotel abroad to a Marriott hotel in Taiwan. The proudest thing is that even if you can't go abroad, there is still a way to keep your Marriott Titanium membership and your wife's Platinum membership.
If the epidemic is over, I must plan a free trip to Europe as soon as possible. With my wife, I revisited Italy, a beautiful country that I haven't been to since my honeymoon.
5) Talk about a conflict you encountered in 2020 that was difficult to resolve. The conflict here refers to: You feel that your beliefs and actions are in conflict.
Good question!
My answer is: I can totally accept this kind of busy work . Compared with the past, I always hope to achieve physical and mental balance and practice ideals at work. However, this is wrong! To realize your dreams, you can only have the opportunity to realize yourself when the responsibility on your shoulders is fulfilled.
Work is not the place to live out your dreams. It is a labor-intensive, paid workplace. It's a battleground where you can do your best to prove the value of use.
When fighting, don't bring too many emotional factors, and organize survival as the first priority. When making decisions, business by business integrates limited resources and makes the greatest contribution. Don't ask for short-term returns, just do your best.
Continue to learn and grow and absorb nutrients. As long as you live, good things will happen.
6) Share a moment when you "suddenly understood the position I was against."
I don't quite understand this question, mainly because the relationship between "understanding" and "opposition" is very confusing.
Because of the position of opposition, you must be very clear, otherwise you will be opposed for the sake of opposition. Now that it is clear, why should it be understood?
7) How has your relationship with your body changed compared to a year ago? Do you like your current body more?
The answer is the same as the first question. Of course, I love the current slash sambal dad .
8) After 2020, have you found something about yourself that you cannot stop?
That is to keep writing, and continue to operate the official website and readers of Matt City.
9) Please share with us your most listened song, your favorite book or your most memorable movie in 2020
" I'm yours" by Jason Mraz. This is the first song on my Dabao Spotify playlist, and I follow my son's music, haha.
10) Finally, can you please represent your 2020 with a photo
11) Please fill in the blank: 2020, ___ matters
2020, I meet matterers
