student killed in class
In Form 6, I chose Biology (Bio) and gave up Physics (Phy).
Damn Phy, I've never really liked it, I'm not like the guy next door to me, it just works. Although Phy is amazing, I had to rote it.
When I visited the next class once, I asked them why they chose Phy instead of Bio?
Among them, a very devout Buddhist said: "I don't want to kill. Bio has anatomy, doesn't it? Although I also like Bio very much."
I'm even more interested in Bio because I can dissect, if I get better grades maybe I'll go to a doctor, maybe a veterinarian.
The teacher made a demonstration video to teach us how to dissect mice. We looked at the respiratory and reproductive systems, and later asked us to pick up the fainted white mice. Put the rat cage in an airtight box, then pour some chloroform into it, and it won't take long for it to faint.
My team member came back with the mouse and said, "Hey, I got a mouse that fainted halfway through its stool."
I can't stop laughing.
When I brought the mouse back, I had to bathe it, dry its body, fix its limbs with nails (I really couldn't bear to pierce these warm flesh), and start dissecting with its stomach up.
After one operation, clean up the mess. To be honest, I can't understand where is where, and the flesh and blood are blurred. The final homework is still done by copying.
One after-effect was that I became afraid to eat meat. My mother would add some meat to stir-fry dishes, so I just picked vegetables to eat. This situation lasted for several months.
Even if the desire to eat meat is restored later, I still feel that I should stop eating meat if I can, and my heart is very uneasy. Even now eating meat, I am conflicted. I hope one day I can make up my mind.
College roommate Xiaoyou told me that she also had rats dissecting in form 6, but she was very afraid of rats, but her class was a solo dissection, and no one could help her. She shouted while holding the mouse tail, and returned to the position Tears fell at that time.

There was another wave of impact at Form 6, which was to do insect specimens.
I caught the mantis, but its vitality is too tenacious, and I don't know what to do to let it die without destroying its body. I ended up drying it out.
But at that time, I was very flustered, and my neck became very sensitive, I was afraid that the mantis sickle would touch my neck and kill me.
Difficult task, and in the end I managed to collect all kinds of insects.
Going to college is more exciting. There are several fish studies classes, and I dissect the fish almost every week. I disemboweled the first fish in my life, which is the Wu Guoyu. I had to knock open its head, and the brain was white. It was so hard to knock on. I really don’t know how the old people at home bite off the head of the fish and eat the brain. Will the fish bones become brittle after heating?
Also look at the red and white blood cells in the blood of the fish.
Although I am a Malaysian, it was only then that I learned that Malays would recite sutras before killing their lives. The big idea is to thank the animals for their sacrifice, and we will study hard.
But after countless experiences of killing fish, I have not become afraid of fish/don't eat fish, but sometimes buy fish to clean and cook for myself.
. . .
How could I have become so calm when I said I wanted to be a vegetarian.
If you like it, please give generous appreciation/reward, and I wish you a good day.
