This song was not only selected for the first season of TVB's "Golden Songs", but also won one of the "Top Ten Chinese Golden Songs" of RTHK in 1985.
The original song of "Manzhu Shahua" is Yamaguchi Baihui's song "Manzhu Shahua" of the same name, but the spelling of "Man" and "Sha" is different. Anita Mui's other songs adapted from Baihui Yamaguchi include "Red Doubt" , "Ice Mountain Fire" and "Walking My Way Alone" .
Yuzaki Ryutong is a Japanese singer-songwriter, adapted from his Cantonese songs, as well as Leslie Cheung's "The Wind Continues to Blow" , Lin Zhimei's "Piano in the Rainy Night" and Alan Tam's "Maggie" .
The lyricist Pan Weiyuan has written the lyrics of many classic golden songs for Anita Mui, such as "Flaming Lips" , "Love General" and "Lady" .
The actor of the MV of "Manzhu Shahua" is Chen Tingwei, a film and television actor. He used to be the first brother of ATV, and he also sang some TV drama songs. In the MV, he was fortunate to have an intimate hug with Sister Mei. Chen Tingwei also played the leading role in the MV of "Harmony of Love" by Chen Meihe.
Manjushua is another name for the other shore flower, which symbolizes death and is an ominous flower. Its name comes from the Sanskrit Mañjusaka. Legend has it that Manzhu Shahua is only open on Huangquan Road. The fragrance of flowers has magic power and can evoke the memory of the deceased. The flowers are deep, bright red and look like a carpet of blood. Faye Wong also has a Mandarin song called "The Flower of the Other Side".
Note: "Sanskrit" is the ancient Indian language
Another Cantonese version of "Manzhu Shahua" is Luo Wen's "Paint Little Wild Flowers", which appeared earlier than Sister Mei's version, which will be discussed later.

"Manzhu Shahua" lyrics: Music: Uzaki Ryudo Lyrics: Pan Weiyuan Edited: Li Xiaotian *The night has gently stepped into the window, the tired little star is leaning on the clouds and the wind, the leaves are flying all over the window, put on the evening clothes of the day and put on lipstick. The wind blows the waste paper into this window of my heart, I will try my best to forget it, but I will not forget it. The heat wave remains in my heart + his eyes are like a dream. As we gradually fall asleep, Manzhu Shahua's old beauty is gone. Manzhu Shahua's dry hair is no longer fragrant, but my beautiful heart wants to sing again and again *,#,+,%,%
