I've changed from one day off to two days off... It's so scary~~ Still, I'm going to finish my internship diary.

Substitute for emergency rescue

Around ten o'clock on Thursday evening, my Line received a message of "Jianghu Emergency", and the Academic Affairs Office temporarily needed a substitute teacher. The instructor of the original class seemed to be suddenly unwell and urgently needed to find a substitute. I became a fire brigade and was dispatched to help urgently.
Maybe because of urgent help, I just need to take the first Hokkien class on my own. When I called the teacher from the original class, the voice sounded really uncomfortable. She gave me a little handover and hoped that I could help me change the contact book and homework.

This class is also in the third grade, and the atmosphere of the class is obviously different from that of the hot boy class last time.

Early self-rest, I feel they are not very quiet.
Usually I go to the substitute class, and when the whole class arrives, I will tell you a little about what I am going to do today.

At the end, I will specifically say to the students:
I heard that elementary school teachers in Japan don't need microphones~~ Do you know why?

Without exception, every student in the class I substitute will have someone answer:
Because Japanese students are very quiet.

(YES! Correct answer~~)

I will go on to say:
The teacher only came to substitute for today and did not bring a microphone, so it is difficult for my voice to match the voice of your whole class~~
So, how can you hear my voice?

Students answer:
Quiet.

(very good!)

Next, I say:
I hope to spend a pleasant half day with you all! Later, I will help your tutor to change the contact book and homework. How do you think we can spend a happy half day together today?

Students answer:
Quiet.

(awesome!)

I say:
What if there is something really important to tell the teacher?

Students answer:
Raise your hand.

I say:
Very good~ Then if we really have something important to tell our classmates, we can speak in a low voice so that the two of us can hear it. (Student nods and says yes)

I continued:
It seems that we can spend a happy half day together today~

This class is really great! We really had a great half day of substitute lessons together.

Early self-rest, there is a little sound, but it is still in the tolerable range. The Hokkien language class was also considered very good, allowing me to proceed to the expected progress.

I feel like I have regained my confidence in substitute classes. (Right! There are also angel classes that make people feel at ease)
