Hello everyone, welcome to Renyi DreamWorks. The movie we are going to watch today is "Copyman Seo Bok 서복". This Korean sci-fi movie is based on replicants, and is co-starred by Kong Liu and Park Baojian. The overall plot focus is also on the relationship and action scenes between the two. The discussion on replicants is relatively bland and one-sided, but the two male gods The performance still saved a lot of points, so my impression is: not bad.

The issues that the film wants to cover is deeper and wider than I imagined, not only about what is human, but also about topics such as death, humanity, and immortality. Of course, thinking is one thing, but the actual effect of the film is only "half a bucket of water". Many themes are presented through the dialogue between Xu Fu and Min Qixian, but most of them just stop at the point, and even have a sense of great truth, and Xu Fu's superpower is far more eye-catching than his own confusion, so It makes a lot of supposedly interesting information disappear into explosions and bullets, making it hard to grasp and empathize with. In addition, although the story of the movie is good, there are some Korean dramas that are criticized for their hypocrisy and routines everywhere. Personally, I am not very satisfied. But what is certain is that the picture of Xu Fu's superpowers is really quite good-looking. The degree of tyranny is almost the level of "LUCY: Super Power Shaji", and there are enough bloody elements to show Xu Fu's power and uncertainty.

In terms of roles, Min Qixian played by Gong Liu and Xu Fu played by Park Baojian both have outstanding performances, which not only leave a deep impression on people, but also support the skeleton of the whole drama. The interaction between the two is full of subtle chemical reactions, especially the wonderful questions and answers in the middle and front sections, which can really highlight the contrast between them, and bring out Xu Fu's characteristics and thoughts that are different from ordinary people. However, I think the film has never been able to explain the relationship between Min Qixian and Xu Fu very clearly. In the middle of the plot, it seems to have gotten rid of the pure interest relationship, but in the end, it is mentioned again that Min Qixian just needs Xu Fu. The relationship is a bit repetitive. Personally, the most problematic characters are the villains. To be honest, in fact, whether it is the US government, the director of the research institute, or the Minister of Security of the Intelligence Agency, their motives are quite confusing and far-fetched, and they are not too worthy of the act of hunting Xu Fu, so it feels like only In order to increase the pomp of the ending and add more brainless victims.

In conclusion, the movie has good themes and ideas, but it cannot be shown through the characters, so it is not a very prominent sci-fi movie, but at least in terms of the performance and interaction of Kong Liu and Park Baojian in the play, personally I think it's worth watching.
