【TCLin's Travel Log】Life in Japan: New Year's Eve 🙏🙏
I shared some Japanese itineraries and attractions before, and I will share it today. I think it's a pretty good experience in Japan's New Year's Eve 🙏🙏
🔴 - A brief introduction to "Chu Yi"- 🔴
This is the most important event in the first month of the Japanese New Year and the first shrine visit in the new year⛩ ⛩
The tradition originated from the Edo period. In Japan, most men, women and children have the habit of celebrating the beginning of the new year mainly to thank the gods for their blessings in the past year and pray for a safe and smooth new year.🙏🙏
🔴 When is the best time to go to Chuyi?
1. During Matsunei
2. From January 1st to January 3rd
3. Late at night on a dark day
The above are the three common answers. If you are interested in learning more, please check online.
We chose to go in the middle of the night on a dark day
🔴The big dark day refers to the visit to the company before 00.00 on December 31st, that is, before the arrival of January 1st
The place we are in is Hakuba Village in Nagano Prefecture ⛩ ⛩ The shrine is Suwa Shrine
I didn't expect so many people to line up in such a remote village ㄟ In addition to the Japanese, there are also many foreigners, such as us~
🔴About the order of pilgrimage to Hatsuga
1. Waiting for the New Year's bell
2. Go shopping in the shopping streets and on the terraces
3. Wash your hands and rinse your mouth
4. Incense burner
5. Throwing coins to pray
6. Draw fortunes and buy amulets
It is generally recommended to invest 5 yen because the pronunciation of Japanese is very similar to the fate of Japanese👍
But the shrine we visited this time is very small, so it seems to only appear in 1.5.6😂😂
Here, the top 100 people who come to worship will have a picture like what I have in my hand. I forgot what to call it.... 😅😅
Then....
In fact, I didn't get it, I borrowed it from a friend to take a picture 😂😂
Next is buying amulets.
Then.......
As of this moment today, it has not been opened yet😅😅
It's a very fresh experience 👍👍
After that, you can also go to a larger shrine in the middle of the night. There should be more small shrines. It's as simple as me.
Like my work? Don't forget to support and clap, let me know that you are with me on the road of creation. Keep this enthusiasm together!
