Aki Essays|About Love
When we talk about liking, do we like the image atmosphere created by the whole? Or the essence?
I don't know if you have watched the Korean variety show "The Masked Singer"? I still remember that this program caused a lot of repercussions when it was piloted on MBC. The original idea of the production unit was to let everyone return to listening to the singing itself, focus on hearing, and reduce the impact of the established visual impression. Although it later evolved into guessing the singer's true identity, this part will be put aside for now.
I remember the first song king (the queen) in the pilot broadcast was EXID's Sol Ji, and the words she said with tears before taking off the mask in the backstage were impressive.
She said that she is really grateful that you can get everyone's love just by listening to the singing.
This reminds me of a Korean webtoon, "The Age of Faces."
In this age of sensory stimulation, there was a time when we were blinded to what really matters.
There are two sentences in the classic masterpiece "The Little Prince" that say so
The really important things are invisible to the eyes.
What is most important is invisible.
The eyes are blind, you have to look with your heart...
But the eyes are blind. One must look with the heart...
In modern times, where seeing is not necessarily believing, the importance of the heart is even greater than ever.
Internet creation is an alternative masked singer to me. People can't see each other behind the screen, it seems that they should be able to feel the real inner and see the brilliance of talent. However, what is the so-called "truth"?
What do you like is the real me? Or the self that I have revealed to you? And what I like is the real you? Or the ideal you living in my mind?
I think this applies whether it's a love of public figures, friendships, or love.
When we like an author, what we like is the author's style of writing, tone of writing, or some self-projection.
However, writing style can be deliberately shaped.
I remember that a reader went to the publishing house to buy a book, and the couple was very excited to share the works of the author they liked and the insights they gained from it. Looking at their happy appearance, what we can't tell is that the author is not alone, but all the staff of our creative department.
The world is full of many packages, even if I know it well, I will still involuntarily fall in love with the artificially created atmosphere.
Human love is really complicated and difficult to understand.
