Right arrow: artificial

C6 is about transformation. The "shores" of C6 may be coasts, river banks, or lake shores. "Shores" refers to a place where you can look beyond, where you live on the edge of where two things meet. It’s less about interaction with others and more about a place of transformation, of transition. Like a transition from forest to field, or from a certain deadness to a broader sense of life, like desert to garden. These places allow us to observe changes, feel different energies, and effect transformation. "Shores" can be symbolic transition areas from one state to another, allowing us to feel the changes and transitions in life.

About the unreachable horizon and the world that might exist there, the kind of unknown place that sparks the imagination. That's what borders are like. People are always fascinated or longing for the other side. Therefore, you must understand that there are many kinds of "shores." Think of those who lived in East Germany when the Berlin Wall still divided the city. That is also a kind of "shore". Or those who live in two countries and travel back and forth frequently. They live on an artificial boundary. Seeing both sides gives them a certain unique perspective on life. The key is to have a sense of tension that comes from the different circumstances surrounding you.

Those in "shore" environments are often not particularly interested in their current environment, but rather in the potential that may exist beyond the "shore" and in the perspectives of other places from where they are.

Consider the various boundaries we have: countries, provinces, regions, neighbourhoods, cities and suburbs, etc. Rivers, highways, even mountains. They may be in some kind of limbo that they don't like, or they may be living on the outskirts of the city, looking out at the city and dreaming of city life. Or someone lives in the suburbs and commutes to a big city for work every day.

This pursuit and desire for the "shore" demonstrates people's curiosity about the unknown, other places, and their desire to explore the wider world that may exist. This desire to explore helps broaden horizons, inspire imagination, and inspire people to keep moving forward in search of new experiences and opportunities.

They can see what's on the other side and encounter what's there. This could include different faiths, different races, all kinds of things looking for a bridge to connect to each other. Being on the shore means being open to what lies beyond, but it also means that it may not always be available.

This quality leads them to connect with multiculturalism, diversity and different worlds. They may have opportunities to promote understanding, harmony, and cooperation because they are at the point of contact with different cultures and perspectives. At the same time, they may also experience a sense of isolation that they are not often present in a particular place or community. As such, C6's shores may serve as a medium for cultural exchange and understanding, while also presenting unique challenges.

Living on the east side of the former Berlin Wall doesn't mean you can cross it. But you can still see the scenery, have perspective. Social boundaries may also exist. The good thing is that if you live on a border, you can always go to the other side and come back. If you don't walk past it, your vision and imagination may walk past it and come back again. It's like living on the edge of a village. There is a big difference between city people and country people, you can see both kinds of people at the same time.

C6 must be on the other side of what is being observed in order to gain perspective. This is a perfect environment for you. It’s all about always seeing one side in relation to the other, to the beyond, to get a broader perspective. By comparing and contrasting, a greater diversity of perspectives is gained, and different positions must be taken to obtain this perspective.

C6s are not as interested in maintaining civilization in the environment as other types. What you seek is transformation. There's a theme of "moving forward" here: looking for other possibilities. You need to have a perspective of the next place that is different from where you are. People are always coming to ask you what you think about the situation here and there. You get the feeling that the people you meet at the intersection (the people who come to you) are usually looking for change, and these people are looking for someone who can give them answers. But this environment doesn’t offer social dynamics or responsibility. You are at the intersection to achieve your own (goals) and not for others.

Left arrow: natural and right arrow: artificial. Natural, as the name suggests, is the natural dividing line between environments and things that are naturally formed. The artificial is the transition point created by human effort. This can be any man-made dividing line, not just objects but aspects that divide people and places into various categories. You have to pay attention to discover this. Designing as a shore means living on the edge, in the place where one thing ends and another begins.

For people in a shore environment, light plays a very important role, especially the sun's rays. For the natural group, it is important to work in an area with plenty of natural light so that they do not have to use artificial lighting and are less inclined to turn on electric lights even if the room is dimly lit. For this reason, it is obvious that they are not suitable for night work. It’s not healthy for them and it’s not an environment for them to interact with people. This doesn’t mean they have to be in the sun all the time, but don’t be in an environment that deprives them of natural light. At least there should be big windows. Of course, they love working outdoors during the day. It's a conducive environment for them.

For people who make this group, the opposite is true. It is very unhealthy for them to have a workplace near a window where the sun shines in, and they need to stay away from this. Many people like to work at night. They love the night environment and when the sun goes down. For them, that's the start of their day.

Mr. Zhang belongs to the natural shore group. When we go abroad, he likes the seat by the window of the plane. He feels that the field of vision is wide and he can see far away.

For those who like to work at night, it's really prudent to avoid too much exposure to direct sunlight, and that doesn't just mean direct sunlight, but any amount of light, direct light, or even artificial lighting. Other high-frequency signals, such as cell phones, nearby Wi-Fi, or anything outside the sound spectrum, can be harmful to health. When you sleep, turn off these devices or place them a safe distance away. You don't need them. Likewise, you may want to stay away from the large antennas that cell phone companies install on top of some buildings.

For those of you in a man-made environment, having the spotlight directly on you is not ideal for your health. Indirect light and scattered light are best. It may not be healthy for you to work outside during the day. All of these things are not only about health, but also about meeting the right people. It’s about whether you can meet the other half who is waiting for you to achieve your goals.

Whether natural or artificial, you may have a soft spot for dehumidifiers and humidifiers. (When you feel uncomfortable) Think that if you just take the time to take a nice bath, you'll be fine. But actually wetness and dryness don't matter to you. It's just a distraction that makes you forget what's important. So are super dry or very humid places, which can be distracting.
