Impact of Domain Name Change on Users
The change of Matters domain will not affect the use of any functions, but there are some small things that need to be explained to citizens:
1. All URLs with the suffix .News, including shared articles, hyperlinks, etc., will not be affected by changing the domain name, and the links will continue to be valid for a long time.
2. If you enter the website from https://matters.news/ in the future, it will automatically jump to https://matters.town/ . When you click on the old URL with the suffix .News, it will automatically jump to the new URL.
3. After changing the domain, you will need to log in to the Matters website again.
4. If you use PWA, it will automatically jump when you open it, and there will be a very short (less than one second) jump time; you can choose to reinstall PWA, if you do not reinstall, it will not affect the existing use.
5. The Matters customer service mailboxes will be enabled at the same time as hi@matters.town and ask@matters.town. If your email is sent to the original email address (the email ending in .news), we can still receive it normally.
