The 108 syllabus takes " core competencies " as the main axis of curriculum development, in order to implement the concepts and goals of the syllabus, and also take into account the coherence between various education stages and the integration of various fields/subjects.

After the new syllabus came out, " core literacy " became the most popular word in the education circle. So what exactly are "core competencies"? It refers to the knowledge, ability and attitude that a person should have in order to adapt to the present life and face future challenges. Core literacy emphasizes that learning is not limited to subject knowledge and skills, but should focus on the combination of learning and life .

In the past, I often heard people say that the knowledge learned in school is often different from the practice that will be used after graduation. Therefore, combining learning with life now has become the ultimate learning goal that education hopes to achieve. I am the first teacher trainee of the new syllabus, and the teaching inspection also claims to be the first to adopt " literacy-oriented exam questions". Although, after the exam questions are written, our candidates this year have a common question in their hearts, where is their literacy? ? ?

Of course, the students who have returned to using the new syllabus textbooks are now entering the third grade. I have heard most of the comments on the so-called " ability to take away " that has been experienced for nine years, compared to the " core literacy ". I feel that changing the soup is not changing the medicine. As far as I can see, the officials, professors, and teachers from the Ministry of Education are all very dedicated to education, and they really hope that the children can have a good quality of education.

In the past, when I was at the Institute of Mathematics and Education, I often heard that some students were not good at mathematics, but lacked understanding of Chinese. A large part of the reason for the poor learning assessment results is that the questions of the application questions are not understood.

The so-called " literacy-oriented exam questions" will be applied more in combination with life situations, so that the exam is no longer just some memorization or simple calculation ability. It sounds like a good idea, but if you think about it carefully, the so-called life situation question requires more situational presentation and textual explanation in order to explain the situation clearly.

I was invited to the parent group by Master and teacher. I went in and started to see the parents buying in the group. I can't see the original picture. What is the group buying?
Later, I saw the teacher said that more than half of the parents bought it, and the teacher mentioned that he would take the time to bring students to use it together.
Today, I finally saw the content. It turned out to be a book to train students to improve their reading ability.
I also had the opportunity to see how teachers lead lower grade students to reading reference books.

In the first article, the teacher showed the students paragraph by paragraph and taught the students to circle the unfamiliar words in the article. Practice inferring the meaning of unfamiliar words against the context. Usually, in the Mandarin class, the teacher will lead the students to do some information extraction and in-depth study of the content. I feel that when the students read this article with the teacher, the children quickly catch up with the teacher's speed.

This is an extra-curricular reference book. Teachers try to let students practice correcting their own answers, and begin to cultivate students' ability to learn independently and correct answers by themselves.
