Post-election cry, absurd bubble

After the election is the time to cry, and crying is the time to reveal the absurdity of the world.

The cry that left the deepest impression on me was when Feng Dingya of the Kuomintang (then a Taipei City Councilman) lost the election in the fifth grade of elementary school (1994), and then our principal of Renai Ai Primary School, for some unknown reason, invited her to speak on the stage at our flag-raising ceremony. Feng Dingya came to the stage. After thanking the principal, he suddenly choked up and cried out in front of thousands of our children.

The principal hurriedly stepped forward to comfort her and helped her off the stage. I forgot how the court was dissolved after that. At that time, I was confused at first, and then I thought it was too funny: if you want to cry, it is almost the same as crying when you go to our parents, and cry when you cry when you go to us elementary school students who have not yet voted, what's the point?

I took this as a joke, remembered it for a long time, and occasionally brought it up. Our principal was Feng Dingya's good sister back then. I don't know the exact relationship, but at least a few times a year, she will be invited to speak to our children. Every election, there must be Feng Dingya's flag around the school. It is a good idea to seek parental support through children, but Feng Dingya has come to power so many times, I don't remember what she said at all, just as I heard from the principal's words from the first grade to the fifth grade (the sixth grade has been replaced). ), I forgot what she said. I remember the gaffe after this election. Oh, and my brother also graduated from Ren Aiguo Primary School. He doodled the principal's photo and wrote a bunch of words on the graduation album. I laughed until my stomach hurt. I basically remember these.

However, when I grew up and recalled this story, I gradually became able to taste absurd literature, but I still don't know how to say it. Now, having witnessed the great rise of "stratospheric politics" and the various losses after this election, I think I can say two things: I cry because the beautiful bubble bursts, and the absurd is because when you burst into tears, from the outside It looks like you guys are still blowing bubbles and supporting that fantasy that everything is on track and kids are obedient. Here's where it's funny, and where it's not funny is that we're not much better. In another situation, you'd be gaffe in front of an audience that wasn't your target.

I don't take this story as a joke anymore.
