Thinking of turning the forum site into a sub site

It made me want to turn the current forum website into a subsidiary website and slowly shut it down. The idea is getting stronger and stronger.

Although I was born in 1976 and I am only 45 years old this year, it seems that there is still a long way to go in my life.

But seriously, I've been through all kinds of inexplicable things in 2021.

Made me think differently about my future.

At present, this forum website, I rent it in the candy host with more than 3,000 Taiwan dollars per year. More than 3,000 Taiwan dollars per year is not a big number.

The focus is on maintenance and if something happens to me, the website will probably be gone.

Although the articles on my forum website are not very well written, it is probably just the thoughts of a middle-aged uncle who started this forum website after setting up this forum website on 2019/06/10.

But there are some things I wish I could keep.

Will want to transfer to Matters.news because the graphics and text will be permanently stored in the IPFS decentralized decentralized file system.

Then I don't need to worry that if I fail to maintain the site, or if something happens to me, this place will be gone.

It may take a little more time to think and plan before starting to execute.

It's half a year before I need to renew my hosting again, so I still have months to think and plan.
