So today I want to briefly introduce the vegetarian restaurant opposite the Confucius Temple in Tainan. This restaurant has been around for a long time. It can be regarded as a restaurant that I often went to when I was in Tainan. It is opposite the Confucius Temple. It is easy to find and the price is affordable. Mainly because my home is in Kaohsiung. It's on the edge of Tainan, so you can stop there if you're riding a bicycle to have a rest and have a meal. The boss won't chase you away, so it's perfect for eating and chatting with friends.

Next to it is the entrance of Narrow Gate Coffee. This restaurant is easy to find and the business is good. When I went there last Saturday, there were many customers for takeout and dine-in.
There are many choices, including teppanyaki, special meals, rice noodles, side dishes, dim sum, and hot pot. In the past, they would also serve a small dish of preserved vegetable pancakes. From this small plate of preserved vegetable pancakes, you can see that I am greedy for petty gains. Personality..., I will come if you can give it to me!

The prices on the menu have been raised several times in the past ten years. I also moved to Taichung, and the free biscuits have been cancelled~
Time flies, the store's decoration, tables and chairs are still the same, but the number of customers has changed several times, and the boss's hair has become a lot grayer.

By the way, I like the style of some stores that put some health information and small cards under the glass table mat. This store also has a small bookshelf. In the past, when I didn’t have a mobile phone to read articles and I didn’t bring a book, I would I will look for something on the bookshelf to read~

When I said that I was greedy for petty gains, I was not being polite, it was the truth!
As mentioned before, I was considering going to Hanlin Teahouse later in the evening and would definitely order a drink (because of the low sales), so I didn’t go to Peach Blossom to buy carambola soup. However, after ordering the special meal, I chose iced black tea without any thought~
This is a gift! Must drink!

And it can also be seen that I am a greedy person. Even though the meal comes with soup..., I insist on ordering an extra portion of puff pastry soup just because I want to drink it...

The black tea presented as a gift cannot be said to be very good, but it is also thirst-quenching and refreshing, and there is no burden or astringency when you drink it.

By the way, from the way the food is plated and the way the boss insists on squeezing the sauce, we can see that the boss is persistent in aesthetics~

The puff pastry soup is actually corn soup covered with puff pastry and then baked. Corn soup is 40 yuan, while puff pastry soup is 60 yuan.

Personally, I like to tear the puff pastry into pieces and eat them when they are soaked but not too rotten. Think about it...it's almost like dipping fried dough sticks in Cantonese porridge.
