Xiao Yunxun shared: Bit by bit is life (the last stand)

On average, 1 in 10 people in the world needs to walk for at least 30 minutes to get water. Millions of women and children need to give up the opportunity to study and earn money to go over mountains and mountains to collect water for their families, but mountain stream water is often full of bacteria, and drinking it directly can cause deadly diseases at any time.

Drip is Life was established in 1998. They believe that access to clean water is everyone's basic right to survive, and they are committed to bringing clean water to those in need. Their website states that on average 1 in 10 people in the world needs to walk for at least 30 minutes to get water. Millions of women and children need to give up the opportunity to study and earn money to go over mountains and mountains to collect water for their families, but mountain stream water is often full of bacteria, and drinking it directly can cause deadly diseases at any time.
They organize activities every year to serve the disadvantaged and pass on love.

One of the activities I participated in twice was called the Fight Against the Water. The contestants needed to use bamboo baskets to carry 4.5 liters of water to challenge the 28-kilometer race, so as to raise funds for water projects and solve the problem of water shortage. The 4.5L water provided by the conference cannot be opened for drinking (of course you can bring additional water and there is a water station in the middle to replenish water)

This activity not only challenges themselves, but also allows participants to experience the hardships of water-deficient residents running around for water every day. I think the concept is really good. This activity also has parent-child groups participating, so that children can cherish drinking water more through the activity.

Back then, I was really skinny, and it was a bit difficult to walk 28km on my back. Of course, my friends and I all successfully completed it. Thinking of the people who are short of water in the mountains, we are only a one-day experience, and they face it every day. problems, so that we have no excuse to be lazy and waste water.

Scholars often tell us to drink eight glasses of water a day to be healthy, and I often drink only 1-2 glasses of water. In fact, it is not easy for many people to drink a glass of clean water, and they really have to seize the opportunity to drink well. Full.
