Memorabilia-France Avignon Art Festival 1-Eve

As July is approaching, social platforms are bombarded with news of various performing arts. The difference this year is that due to the impact of the epidemic [ 2020 Avignon Art Festival] has been cancelled!

In this case, let’s write a brief summary of the 42-day trip to France in 2011. It’s nothing, I just want to miss and record the grand scene at that time.

On June 30, 2011, taking advantage of the achievements made by my seniors in Avignon in 2010, I was shortlisted by the Ministry of Culture again, and went to participate in the Avignon Art Festival outside France; that was the first time I took a long-distance plane to Europe. In the country, I was half awake on the plane, and I slept like hell. I didn't wake up until the last two hours to watch a movie. As for how I got up to eat during the period, I also forgot! =..=a

Arrived in France on 6/30 at 5:00 a.m. local time. I hurriedly drove to the Paris Cultural Center with my luggage, greeted the supervisor with the interpreter at the Bavin Center, and took a few funny photos during the waiting period. When I came back to Taiwan to see the Symphony Lover's Dream, I found out that it was the Bawen Center where the filming took place.

suspect? Don't you want to go to Avignon? For sure, I must have been too slack at the time, I didn’t know any itinerary at all, and followed the other members of the group foolishly; I entered the hotel in Paris, and because of the six-hour time difference, everyone took a short lunch break and still hadn’t slept. I was woken up by Sui Yi's agent, and quickly dressed to go to the rehearsal performance, what!!! Am I being too confused? We didn’t know we were going to perform at all, but fortunately, the many performances in the past have trained us to be calm in the face of danger.

The pavilion in the Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris, 360-degree panoramic performance / 2011

It was the first time in my life that I saw such a large pavilion. Everyone was thinking about the dilemma of the performance. This is a stage that we could not predict. First, there is no radio, second, 360-degree environment performance, and third, the smoothness of the floor , I can only say one hand and one foot, for the actor, it is completely open-ended exposure.

The audience also slowly entered, what? It is not only the viewing area in front of the square, but the audience also sits around with us 360 degrees, digging~ This is really a test of the energy and physical strength of the first day after getting off the plane. Sweat and panting are art! But it's nothing, nibbling on the B group, a hero, on the stage, crazier than a lunatic, the drum music feast under the carnival, finally the passage of the final Drum Island album European release ended all the joy, and our enthusiasm It also blew thousands of miles, everyone was like a deflated skin, no one thought that this was only the first day!

There, all the pace was easy, and at five or six o'clock in the afternoon, the sky was still so bright, I forgot what time the show was, I just remembered that dinner only started at nine o'clock in the evening, the first time I walked a country with so much jet lag , I used up too much physical strength after the performance, and I felt uncomfortable not eating. I was waiting for the food to be served, and I felt that if there was a bed, I would lie down immediately. For the first time, between eating and sleeping, it became difficult to choose; We were all sweaty and had a more difficult choice between bathing and sleeping. We had to take turns sleeping, trying to dig each other up so as not to regret the next day.

In the art capital, you can really see easy sketches everywhere/French Street in 2011

Is France romantic? For the first time, everything is fresh, so romantic!

The next day, before going to Avignon, we went to the streets of Paris, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre Museum. It was a good time to take a deep breath in Paris.

Pack your luggage and take the train? High-speed rail? This time, I really want to go to Avignon!

See you next time~

Don't ask why I took this picture, it's just, it's a must have scene in the station in my eyes
