invisible change

It has been more than two years since the epidemic, but so far there is still no sign of abating, but the spread of the virus has become stronger. Human life has also undergone rapid changes. There are obvious changes, such as various online transformations, working from home, organizational models that are broken down into parts to improve mobility, etc. There are also invisible changes. The silent latent development is education.

At present, the more common education period in people's life is about 18 years, and the early stage, which is of great significance to growth and development, is about 9 years. The most conservative estimate is that the epidemic can end within two years, and it has been four years, that is, nearly half of a generation in the early childhood education period, constantly passing through the stages of suspension of classes, supplementary classes, isolation, and homeschooling. There is not much difference in the turmoil of the war. The intermittent courses may cause a group of people to struggle to catch up in terms of academic level and knowledge. Unlike the war, they are bound to be more physically isolated and alone. As you grow up, you will have less contact with friends and teachers around you. On the downside, does this make them less social, loner, and less socialized? Will formal education affect them less than before? Looking in a good direction, this generation may be better at independent thinking, better at using network and computer technology, and even better able to adapt to the future work mode of mobility and breaking up into pieces. It is simply born for the future world, right?

When I think about it, in this chain of changes, my preference is that the impact of formal education on students will be less and less. When students can use network technology flexibly, the knowledge and framed teaching content that teachers are used to imparting will become more and more out of date, and even students can obtain more diversified learning content in the vast Internet world. , may look down on these framework knowledge even more. The traditional teaching methods, teaching methods, and examination content are bound to be changed. The decentralization of education, these invisible changes, may already be happening.
